Beachwood Golf Club

I must say staff on site was pleasant, it’s just kind’ve poorly stacked/maintained throughout morning/early afternoon rounds. I waited on a tee box for about 15 minutes while 2 different types of workers disturbed the round heavily. One rode a tractor mower dead smack down the fairway for a good 10min. (I get it, he has a job to do but cmon, schedule better) The other group was weed wacking within ears shot of about half of the tee boxes on the front 9 it felt like. Ended up leaving after 9 and not bothering for a rain check as we were out of town and just ready to get away from the course. All in all, Course off the highway is a course off the highway, save your money unless you’re just looking to drunk hack and hit balls. Kind staff that was present.

Greens were in great shape. Fairways were good as well, but once you strayed off the fairways it could get a little dicey. Super friendly/helpful staff for a first timer there trying to rent clubs.

When we checked in and were ready to play the sent out a group of 16 on the first tee and 11 on the tenth tee. Very slow pace of play and no Marshall assistance. Course condition was marginal, especially for the price paid. That said, the staff was great!

Fairways and greens are decent but outside of that course is just ok. Priced high because they can but really worth about $40 per round at best.

Nice course - GREAT location. Played in 4.5 hrs which is better than expected. Course was in good shape in general. Was second round out after rotator cuff surgery so appreciated that it was not a real difficult track.

Course club house staff and marshal's very friendly.

The course is in good condition. Water and bunkers make it interesting and a bit challenging. We will be going back.

One of the first courses I played in Myrtle. Frankly, has changed very little, but in many ways that is a good thing. The layout is fairly unremarkable except for the fish hook par 5. That hole will have your group arguing over beers whether it is a classic or simply silly. Beachwood has always had excellent fairways and smooth-rolling greens. One of the best 'bang for the buck' courses on the strand. Don't expect the full resort treatme. Just expect helpful and experienced staff and a fun golf experience

Our tee time was for 1:15 PM. We were not able to tee off until 2:15 PM!!!!!! Course was way overbooked. Worst experience for that in my life!
