overbooked course and they blame the players for playing slow instead of themselves!

Great place. Especially for beginners. Wide open course. Only thing I wished were different, the bunkers had not been freshened up prior to play. Not a big deal though for me.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Starter was good. Pace was exceptional. They had verticut the greens so they were bumpy and slow. But at least they were consistent. I got paired with another single and and a twosome but played fast and the twosome were college players so they were hitting it a mile.

My favorite in Myrtle Beach. Close by and reasonably priced.

Played 3 courses this trip. This one probably 2nd favorite of the group. Greens very good shape but somewhat slower than what we’re used to. Layout good but many of our approach shots >150 yards even from white tees.

Would recommend this course. Squirrels were insane!

Easy to play for beginners or not seasoned players - enjoyed the challenges and greens were in great shape! Staff was friendly, price was right - give it try!

I must say staff on site was pleasant, it’s just kind’ve poorly stacked/maintained throughout morning/early afternoon rounds. I waited on a tee box for about 15 minutes while 2 different types of workers disturbed the round heavily. One rode a tractor mower dead smack down the fairway for a good 10min. (I get it, he has a job to do but cmon, schedule better) The other group was weed wacking within ears shot of about half of the tee boxes on the front 9 it felt like. Ended up leaving after 9 and not bothering for a rain check as we were out of town and just ready to get away from the course. All in all, Course off the highway is a course off the highway, save your money unless you’re just looking to drunk hack and hit balls. Kind staff that was present.

Greens were in great shape. Fairways were good as well, but once you strayed off the fairways it could get a little dicey. Super friendly/helpful staff for a first timer there trying to rent clubs.
