Not worth the money
After playing a couple of high caliber and challenging courses beechwood was a disappointment and was actually more expensive then the myrtlewood course I played on Wednesday.
Fun but busy
This was a fun track overall. Course conditions were ok. You can definitely see where they are trying to re-sod some tee boxes, but there was nothing out there that would’ve made the round not worth it. The guy in the club house was super nice and helpful. They were VERY busy and the marshals were pushing pace of play really hard even though our group, the group in front of us, and the group behind us were all well within the normal pace. Seemed a little nitpicky, but wasn’t anything to ruin the round. Overall, I’d recommend this course. I would probably suggest trying to find a tee time a little later in day for a little more relaxed round, though

Myrtle golf
course was ok played as a single got paired with good guys not PGA standard but quite playable fairly easy nice and close to where I am staying

Get what you pay for
Good round for the price. Range was poor, pro shop staff wasn’t very friendly but the snack staff was great. Course was in good shape, pretty open and played well. It’s a good play for a budget but with more to spend I’m sure there’s better.

Work in progress.
This was the 2nd time I have golfed this course. First time was only a few days prior. I did notice the club is definitely working on making the course better. I don’t know if it is new ownership or maybe a better groundskeeper. While on the course the second time around I did notice areas marked out that were not marked the first time there. Looks like they are going to be fixing the tee boxes on a lot of the holes and the had already started fixing the tee box on hole 2. Other than the upkeep of the course, which is as I said previously, a work in progress. I feel the price point for the course is an excellent value for the course, maybe even be undervaluing themselves a little bit. I will actually be going there again tomorrow to hit some balls at the range for a little bit with a couple locals that I met on the course the first time out that have been great to me and have been a great example of the type of people that represent this club as a whole!

Do I need to say anything more. I put this on my “no fly list” for Myrtle Beach. Driving range, tee boxes, fairways and greens are all waaaay below par!!!

Value course!!!
Looking to play a course for value is is a gods stop. The only eye sores were the practice area. The driving range felt like you were hiring from the rough and the putting green(s) looked under construction(I hope that is not how they are all the time). On some of the fairways you can tell this place gets hit really hard with golfers throughout the summertime. Overall I had fun playing it. Nothing too bad to say not to come here.

Very slow play
The course is fun to play but was extremely slow; 5 hours. They were behind before we started. It doesn’t appear that there are any rangers. There was a fivesome in front of us and a twosome in front of them. The fivesome waited on some holes for the twosome. I’m not sure what was going on in front of them. According to the individual we talked to in the clubhouse, this is not normal to pair groups this way. Knowing that, we would return.

No rain check or refund
Heavy rain and thunderstorms but Beachwood WOULD NOT give us a rain check or refund!!!! Very very disappointing attitude for a business relying on return customers.

Great time playing this course, except they needed more drinking water on the course, especially for hotter days.
