Nice course for the average golfer but like most courses over booked and plugged the greens the day before i played (didn’t play for cheaper ) but even though the greens were plugged and sanded the fairways were nice an plush so we actually had a great time

Beachwood
Always play Beachwood at lest once every time I come to Myrtle!
Course is always in great shape, and the staff always friendly!
I’m usually a single player and they always find a friendly group to put me with!
This time it was one of their members and a gentleman from Tennessee. Pace of play was just right, even with one of the local groups having a golf outing.
I’ll always be back at Beachwood when I visit, it one of my staples!!

A Fun Course
Beachwood is a fun course to play for the "average" golfer. Good length, pretty wide open, nice water holes, and enough doglegs to make it strategically interesting. Good value compared to other courses in the area.

Enjoyed my round and would recommend. Only had to move my ball a few times out of a couple of rough areas but overall decent course conditions.

Good Average golfer course
It was ok. I have mobility issues now and the proshop was very accommodating.
Some rough spots in the fairway but overall pretty good shape and well taken care of. Wide fairways and errant drives are easily located.
I like it for a "First course of a golf trip" course. Very playable.

Rude folks
Booked online via Email link from the course and noted I would be have a non playing guest. My son with special needs. When I arrived for my tee time the person at the desk overlooked my note and was rude about my guest. The course was ok but his attitude will keep me away and I play there a few times a year.

Budget course
For a budget course, Beachwood was pretty good. Fairways need a lot of attention (i.e., more grass and less dirt spots) but the greens were in pretty good shape. Not real long, pretty flat.

Well worth it
Golfed for the first time early in the morning. They paired me with a local thay has played many times. We were done 18 holes in just over 2 hours. Had a blast.

Course was more then adequate. Nice layout. Greens were well kept. Fairways and tee boxes were average. Staff friendly. Wish carts had USB. They are old but quick.

Great course for money
Beautiful course with a great layout for all skill sets. The staff is nice and helpful and it’s one of the cheaper options for golf in the Myrtle Beach area.

Pass on this course
Unfortunately, this is not a course I would recommend given all the courses to choose from in the MB area. Course conditions were below average for this time of the year. Pace of play was slow and we were hit into on two holes.
Need I say anything further!
Played at Beechwood several times from Jan through March 2022. Course in fair condition, greens well kept, tee boxes need some attention. Staff very accommodating. A very busy course but pace of play reasonable given the players put through on a daily basis.
