Beachwood Golf Club

This place is a little different, no bag drop, you park and they pick up your bag and set you up.

The course is in good shape tee to greens, and a good layout with the next tee box close to the green.

My husband played this course as a twosome. The pace of play was very slow in the afternoon, but enjoyed the course. It’s bet flat, not a lot of trouble, and long wide open fairways. If you hit’em straight and long, you’ll love this course. The grounds are well kept and the price is very reasonable. The only down side was the number of golfer-hackers on the course. It slowed the course down tremendously. A marshal should have pushed them along. Last item, the squirrels were very aggressive looking for food. They looked like they were starving. One tried to get into the back of my golf bag and rip the zipper apart. The

Course needs to.feed them or get them a new home where they can find food. We have then peanut butter and crackers but they were bothersome on several holes.

Very good conditions. Fun layout. Bang for your buck. Cleanest facility I’ve ever seen in 4 years of golfing. Bathrooms out on the course were in pristine condition. Thank you for sharing ch a pic pleasant experience.

Pace of play was brutally slow. Bar was closed when we got in from our round

The greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in excellent shape. Everything was very green and lush. Pace of play was the only issue as we were behind 5 groups on tee 10 after finishing 9 holes. Bring a box of balls for all the water and patience for the pace and you will have a good day here

If you’re looking for a nice course with everything you need that won’t break the bank. Definitely coming every time I’m in North Myrtle Beach.

Took a little over 3 hours to play 9 but still moved along well enough.

Just the pace of play was slow cause t they put groups out with no time in between. There were 3 groups on the first tee. To start our round.

I have played almost every course at Myrtle Beach, but this one has for some reason never been played by myself. I have been coming here to play golf and vacation for 40 years. This course surprised me. I was expecting a sub par condition with the same old back and forth layout as in lots of Myrtle courses. This course is so developed and vintage the layout is very golfer friendly and the course is well maintained. The tough was just high enough to offer penalty for missing the fairway but not impossible to navigate. The greens roll true but not super fast I would say 10.5 for speed. I will be returning here in the future. Plenty of water hazards and challenges but fair to good shots and tough on poor ones. Thanks for a great round.

Enjoyed playing here. Course was in good shape. Liked the layout. Good value.

We finished the front 9 in three hours. They jam way too many people on the course with no dedicated tee times. We had to leave without finishing.
