About
Carved from Stafford County's rolling, emerald green hills, Augustine Golf Club plays across a scenic landscape abundant with mature pines and hardwoods. The pristine white bunkers and the lush fairways contrast nicely with the trees. The course conveniently sits just 30 miles from the Washington Beltway. In 2011 when the golf course was acquired by Raspberry Golf Management, who are responsible for several courses in the area, Augustine underwent major renovations that increased its playability. The greens, fairways, rough, bunkers, and tee boxes were all redone. The layout offers a challenge but is gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence. Included in a round of golf at Augustine are range balls and unlimited use of the driving range, which has different targets and a large putting green.

Above average
May 20, 2022 round. Greens were excellent. Fairways still need to fill in, but they're better than a month ago. They're coming.
Staff was friendly. Other golfers on course were also friendly. Slower players let us go through without asking.
Other than the drive to/from on I95 it was outstanding and I recommend Augustine GC.
Great Place for Golf in Stafford
Never too crowded. Mixture of holes from fairly easy to somewhat challenging. All the staff are engaging and friendly. Usually pace is good, and groups playing slower will often let you play through. Friendly atmosphere and great price for a nice course.
Fairways are very poorly managed. There’s a lot of sports without any grass. Fairways should be in great shap this time of the year. Greens are poor condition too. Greens are wet and soft and there was no rain last few days as far as I remember. Need some work to maintain better condition for the money I paid for weekend. It will be hard for me to go back to play this course for the money I paid. Save your money for playing other courses.
Where is everyone?
I can't believe this course on a Saturday was not busy. I know the NFL draft was in full swing, but my wife and I headed out at 12:24 with just a few groups a head of us, and no one behind us for 18.
I've played this course around five times and always found it in great condition and the staff is simply outstanding. Highly recommend this course to other golfers.
Full price not fair in April/May
There is NO grass on the fairways. When booking tee times they should be forthcoming. Hitting off dirt for 18 isn't fun at all.
Normally better
Not sure what has happened, but fairways are horrible. Greens were in good shape.
Fairways looked like November fairways not April.
Augustine Golf Course
Course is still winter conditions. Was expecting greener fairways, tight lies throughout the course to include fairways. Once the course is maintained it will be a great course to play.
Early Season Conditions Poor
The course is hilly and relatively challenging, more so in early season conditions with sparse fairways and dormant brown Zoysia grass. Bunkers compacted and flooded, LOT of ground under repair. Rather disappointing from the Raspberry Farms folks.

The course blends challenges with a beautiful layout. Great staff, great time.
Great course
Love the challenge of Augustine and pace of play was great. Very friendly staff and members. Course was in great shape and the greens rolled true. Will definitely return for another round.
Early Season Review
Course was soggy, muddy in the fairways, and in need of much work. In the course management’s defense there was a lot of rain fall over the last several days before we played. I will definitely play the course again later in the year when it has time to dry out and Mother Nature brings it back as she only can. Pace of play was terrible as there was a 5 some allowed to play. One individual did not have clubs. The ranger came around once early in the round and was never seen again. Not worth the price paid yet.
Wonderful Course
My go to course in the Fredericksburg area. Never disappoints me. Staff, course and facilities provided a classy environment.
Nice Sunday
The course is better than most in the area. Staff is friendly. Course is challenging but wide open and fun.
Frist TIme
Had a really good round and would recommend this course to my friends and others. The staff was great and only issue I ran into is with a group of younger golfers on the back nine is with them smoking dope on the course and the smell was nasty. I know its legal now in VA, but come on do you really need to get high while playing golf?
Fall golf
I get that there will be leaves on the course, but it seems like they haven't blown leaves in weeks. Too bad because i really enjoy this course.
