About
Carved from Stafford County's rolling, emerald green hills, Augustine Golf Club plays across a scenic landscape abundant with mature pines and hardwoods. The pristine white bunkers and the lush fairways contrast nicely with the trees. The course conveniently sits just 30 miles from the Washington Beltway. In 2011 when the golf course was acquired by Raspberry Golf Management, who are responsible for several courses in the area, Augustine underwent major renovations that increased its playability. The greens, fairways, rough, bunkers, and tee boxes were all redone. The layout offers a challenge but is gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence. Included in a round of golf at Augustine are range balls and unlimited use of the driving range, which has different targets and a large putting green.

Great layout
Course is in good shape, but bunkers need some work. I wish speed of greens were faster. Enjoyed round nonetheless.
Great place to play
I played this course for the first time yesterday and it won't be the last. The course was in very good shape and you could tell some areas that needed it were being addressed. The staff was phenomenal. Every one of them we came in contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful. They made you feel wanted instead of just a customer. Thanks to all of them for a great experience.
Much Improved
I hadn't played Augustine in a few years due to the poor conditions. I recently heard it was better and it's true. The greens are in much better condition than they were a couple of years ago as are the fairways. The bunkers still need some work but your aren't supposed to go in there anyway. Pace of play on a Sun morning was very good. I'll keep Augustine in the rotation.

The course was in good condition. The bunkers are not really playable.
MUCH IMPROVED!
I was a member at this course from 2016 to 2019 then I had to transfer to the West coast for two years. I just got back to the area. In 2017, 2018, 2019 the course was getting worse every year. Now it looks great, they are doingva great job. Played here for the first time in two years, very pleased all around. The layout is one of the best in the area - challenging but fun.

Nice layout, the green side bunkers need some sand. But, overall it's a nice place to play a round of golf.
Slowest Greens ever played. Average Course.
First time playing here. Greens are the slowest I’ve ever played. Like putting on regular grass. Course overall is average. Round took about 4:30 on a Saturday. Not to bad. Was expecting a much better course with the pictures they posted.

The course was in really good condition. I love the layout. Pace of play was excellent.
1st round at this course
Only thing that needs work are the tees a bit ruff. The course is otherwise in very nice shape. Greens are true and well maintained. Reminds me a lot of courses much further south of Virginia. I recomend that you get a yardage book if it's your 1st time could have saved a few strokes knowing the course, still shot 83 and could have been 3 shots less knowing where was the best spots to hit to.
