About
Maderas Golf Club is one of San Diego's most popular courses. Although it is less than an hour from Torrey Pines, it has a stunning landscape and challenging design that rivals that of the famed seaside course. Maderas may not have the ocean views, but its beautiful landscape provides just as much scenery. Nestled inland amongst rolling hills, the golf course weaves through rocky cliffs and outcroppings. There are mature trees throughout as well as a meandering creek and over forty acres of native wildflowers. There are three sparkling lakes and five waterfalls that come into play on the course. The demanding layout features difficult greens that are large and lightning fast. Several tricky uphill and downhill lies can be found throughout Maderas Golf Club thanks to the hilly terrain.

Great Course. Really Nice Staff
Do Maderas, stay away from Aviara. Views at Maderas are nicer and it is better value foenthe money.
Felt cheated
Although its a beautiful course , we felted cheated about pricing. We booked a price online and when we checked in, we were asked to pay surcharges that amounted to over $30.
Great Course
Bit slowbut marshall kept things moving. Great course, neat layout. Enjoyed playing tremendously. My golf was not up to par, but the course was⛳️
Very Challenging
The starter matched me with a member of the course and we were off as a 2some.
Tim was excellent and helped direct me on every shot from the tee box and fairway.
The course is very challenging and difficult as it was the first time playing on it.
Very few flat lies and a few huge down hill, side hill shots.
Great value for the $. The starter was very nice and friendly. A great but humbeling experience.
Course was in great shape. Marshall started me on the back 9 as the front nine was a little backed up, and played the entire round by myself. Nobody in front or behind. Greens were very receptive for spin. Course was challenging, but fair.
