Maderas Golf Club

Searched for a good track in the San Diego area and found Maderas on GolfPass. What a terrific layout! Played from the Green tees (~ 6800 yds), and every hole is challenging. You have to think on this course, and with a breeze blowing, the changing elevations add complexity to the game. Loved it! I'll be back as soon as I can. Very courteous staff, too!

My experience playing this course was totally enjoyable. The layout, course conditions, and friendliness of staff were all exceptional. It is a beautiful course carved into the hills NE of San Diego that is challenging and fun to play. I will certainly play it again when I return to the San Diego area.

A Private Club for a Day!

Facilities, Practice area, and course are fantastic.

This course will is very Hilly with great views, youll be tired when you finish.

It will also turn your birdies into double bogies real fast so understand your going to get beat up on a couple holes.

I played with a 25 handicap female golfer and the forward tees were fair.

My second times playing Maderas and another great experience.

I am a member of a private course in Canada, Maderas treated like a member for a day.

Friendly staff, lovely clubhouse, very nice carts and golf course in great shape and very challenging.

Well worth the $100+ to play this course. I look forward to playing Maderas again.

We loved returning to Maderas - the staff were friendly and we golfed as a twosome which was a big treat. We finished in under four hours.

From top to bottom the Staff and Course are top notch. At every intersection this facility is on point.

Looking forward to a return visit.

Beautiful course in great condition! Greens were firm and fast, and the fairways were running at a 13 said one of the guys in my group! Highly recommend playing Maderas!!

The design of the course was very good

Locker room was dirty

Grill service was very poor

I take all of my out of town guests here before any other place and they are so thrilled. Every hole is different and super fun. The conditions are fabulous and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is on the higher side as you get what you pay for.

Every day at maderas is a good day.

Painful pace of play accentuated by non existent marshals and a Pro Shop that could care less. Drove off at 13 after 5.5 hours. On top of that they allowed an 8some to play further aggravating the situation.

For the amount of money they want, you can certainly do better!

I played this course while visiting town for a conference. Great course. Loved the range. Great course. The back nine is good until you finish 15. A bit of a bottle neck there. But it was a Saturday at the end of the day so that can be expected. I will come back again.

Really nice course. With all the rain the greens were a little soft but nothing they can do about that. All in all great course forsure. Definitely want to play again.
