Maderas Golf Club

This establishment is top notch !! Drove out here from AZ just to play this course. The hospitality I received from the baggage drop guys, pros shop, the starter and restaurant servers was incredible. The starter , wish I knew the gentleman’s name, but WOW! He was a total professional. I was paired up with another single, who was a member at Maderas. I couldn’t have chosen a better person to play my first round with at this course. He (Eric ) was so helpful and hospitable as well. Thank you Maderas for a memorable round!! Will be back soon!!

Spending a few days in the SD area and played Maderas with a friend, and was very happy we did. Very nice course with great layout and very good conditions. Nice value as most of the higher end courses in SD are expensive. Looking forward to coming back

Extra fees for water & golf bag handling a bit much for an already high-end course!

Greens were unexpectedly slow, really threw us off.

Course was in excellent condition. Fairways were plush and greens were in excellent condition. Pace of play was slow waiting on most tee boxes. Walking with pull cart was not easy. If walking, it's better to carry bag. Course management was very accommodating. Bring extra balls for going over water and canyons.

I booked this course on line, it met my expectations. It was a good playable course, the staff was friendly and the course was in great condition.

I will definitely play it again when I travel to the San Diego area.

Stunning layout and surroundings. Well kept course that will test your ability to play from every kind of lie, uphill, downhill, side hill, you’ll get them all . Great fairways, tees and greens and GPS in the buggies. Ice cold towel at the end of the round was a lovely touch on hot day to. I would highly recommend playing Maderas and with about 5 different tees to choose from it can suit any level of player.

We enjoyed playing ! The course was immaculate and the staff was welcoming and pleasant! We were here on vacation and I wish I could play here on a regular basis! Loved it!

My wife and I played this absolutely beautiful course and truly enjoyed the layout , staff and facilities. My one complaint would be the one maintenance staff running the pull behind blower, from the second hole to the fifth he was right there with us on every shot, and on one hole he even was nice enough to park next to the green as we proceeded to putt with the blower humming along. We are not pro,’s and no money on the line, it was just disappointing that he’d did not know better and to stay with one group for and ruined the expensive of those holes. All in all I would recommend this course ( without the blower).

You might wanna go somewhere like torry because of the name but this place is better!!!! Don’t waste your time around San Diego anywhere else this is definitely the place to be!!!!!

Maderas is spectacular. Lots of elevation changes, perfect fairways and greens when Torrey Pines was very dry. It is a true test off the back tees and will challenge the best players.

Our buddy was running late. We had a prepaid time and they let us move it back a bit. Really nice crew.
