Maderas Golf Club is one of San Diego's most popular courses. Although it is less than an hour from Torrey Pines, it has a stunning landscape and challenging design that rivals that of the famed seaside course. Maderas may not have the ocean views, but its beautiful landscape provides just as much scenery. Nestled inland amongst rolling hills, the golf course weaves through rocky cliffs and outcroppings. There are mature trees throughout as well as a meandering creek and over forty acres of native wildflowers. There are three sparkling lakes and five waterfalls that come into play on the course. The demanding layout features difficult greens that are large and lightning fast. Several tricky uphill and downhill lies can be found throughout Maderas Golf Club thanks to the hilly terrain.

Beautiful Course, a Bargain!

Beautiful course in excellent condition at a bargain price. Thanks to Golfpass, got a deal at $65. Didn’t play well, but the course and surrounding scenery are beautiful and that alone makes it a great venue. Staff is friendly and helpful and the pace of play is very good. Tough course but I love it whenever I can play there!

Beautiful Course

The course is beautiful. Could use improvement with the staff- the cart girl was not around. Players on the course has one too many drinks and hit the ball while still on the fairway- the ball hit the bag.

amazing greens an layout

Course is challenging but shot you need to hit are straight forward. the greens are great and challenge you to hit the right zone. If you do the ball funnels to the hole. the 18th fairway does not reward a good drive. the ball roles under a huge tree if you do hit the left hand side.

Drove out from los angeles, saw this coure because of the golfholiks- youtube channel. Course did not disappoint. Everything about this spot was top notch. One thing i will say is that paying $200 is a bit much..Journey @ Pechanga is $150 and IMO that course is if not just as good.. Other than that definitely will re visit in the future.

Very nice but need new gif cart

Great course, well kept. Challenging and nice and long. Staff were amazing. The golf cart needs updating. Very sensitive to out of bounds and shut down on us several times. At one point we were well inbound on the course. Please offer practice tee at the range.
