Maderas Golf Club

Always immaculate and a true San Diego County gem. Would love to see the twilight rate come down just a bit so I could play more but you totally get your $$$ worth.

Visiting from Denver, read the reviews and booked a tee time with my family. Great views and very challenging. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.

I’ve played about 30 courses all over SoCal this year (thanks COVID...) and this one is definitely in my Top 3 amongst Torrey Pines South, Classic Club, PGA West Stadium and Trump National. Do yourself a favor and grab some buddies, book a tee time and have a blast.

Have played this course many times. Played today and it was in the best shape I’ve seen it. Tee to green was 5 stars. The greens were a little slower than normal but understandably soft given the heat wave we’re in.

We really love playing at Maderas. Great layout, challenging and in great condition. Pace is usually pretty good. Look forward to our next round!

Maderas is meticulously maintained. Absolutely beautiful. The downfall is the General Manager. He is never there along with his buddies that work there. There are several non course related issues at Maderas. However they will not be addressed unless they get a new General Manager.

Course was amazing. Loved the layout. Enjoyed the view,however, the guy with the blower cart made my course experience 1star. Nothing takes the peace and focus away like a loud blower by the tee box and then mid fair way , and then on you approach shot. Hole after hole. Super disappointed with the etiquette of the landscaper. Definitely would recommend the course to a friend but hope no ones has the same experience as we did.

This is a beautiful golf property, in a luxury housing development, and I can hardly believe that it is open to the public. I was visiting the San Diego area and this is one of the best kept secrets in Southern California. Elevation, drop offs, curves, desert vs grass fairways. Beautiful! I was only able to play 18 of the 27 holes available. Next time.

I played Maderas earlier this week and it was a blast. Course is in good shape and was a good value overall. I had a great time with my buddy visiting as it was his first time playing the course. He was able to use the club rental service called ClubShare and it was great because we picked up the clubs on the way to the course which was even better because the rentals at Maderas are quite expensive. We will definitely be back, and might want to try it during the winter months.
