Maderas Golf Club

This is a beautiful golf property, in a luxury housing development, and I can hardly believe that it is open to the public. I was visiting the San Diego area and this is one of the best kept secrets in Southern California. Elevation, drop offs, curves, desert vs grass fairways. Beautiful! I was only able to play 18 of the 27 holes available. Next time.

I played Maderas earlier this week and it was a blast. Course is in good shape and was a good value overall. I had a great time with my buddy visiting as it was his first time playing the course. He was able to use the club rental service called ClubShare and it was great because we picked up the clubs on the way to the course which was even better because the rentals at Maderas are quite expensive. We will definitely be back, and might want to try it during the winter months.

Was gonna play Torrey Pines but couldn’t get on the day I was planning and played Maderas. Absolutely gorgeous course in unbelievable shape!! Staff was awesome from the moment I parked my car. For 125$ was expecting an awesome course and experience and I definitely got it and would recommend to anyone who wants a challenge with great conditions. First time playing here and would definitely play again when coming home to visit family. Live in Orlando area and have played some top courses over there, condition wise this is best I have played since moving to Florida 8months ago..

Excellent condition. Superb layout with a mix of challenging drives and tough approach shots. Fun to play.

If you’re a golfer and not a tourist skip Torrey Pines and play Maderas. The course is beautiful, in great condition, the staff is friendly, not an easy course but you’ll forgive that for the challenge and making you think about your game

Took advantage of the heatwave (108 at 2:40 tee time) to have the place to ourselves. Lots of elevation and plenty of forced carries, but not overly narrow or punitive - a tough but fair test. The course is manicured to perfection and the layout is spectacular. Will definitely return next time in SD.

The layout was great. We played from the blue tees and there were several times where you had to think about driver vs 3-wood off the tee. Course was in great shape, greens were very nice, and we teed off at 8:00am and finished by 11:45 which included a 10 minute stop after 9 for the snack bar. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend this course to everyone and I will be playing there again

I had a great time it was real hot. I loved the ups and downs of the terrain and the golf course is in great shape for this time of year

The course is challenging, meticulously groomed and beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone. I even bought a logo shirt finally because I talk this course up so much to my playing groups that I figure its time to represent.

Super impressed! Clubhouse, practice facilities all top notch! Tee boxes, Fairways and greens were perfect! I would have preferred the greens to be a little faster but it was hot and humid. Tremendous layout and design. Holes are well framed with perfect targets. If you hit it well you can score if you are a little off you will be punished! Ill be back for sure!!!! It is one of the best tracks in San Diego County. Feels like you are at a private club.

This is the greatest golf experience I have ever had. The course provided absolutely everything one can dream of in a day if golf. Stunning views, incredible hikes, outrageous challenges, impeccable greens, and pure golf ectasy.

Greens were in great shape, but course was dried out. Most of the staff were friendly. With.all the blind spots on drives, I got hit into 3 times, while waiting for group ahead
