About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Just for fun
I came as a single & they paired me with another single. There was two slow groups in front of us so it was a slow round. The course was in good overall shape & the greens were fast but true.There was a cart girl with a good selection, although a little pricey. Despite the pace we had an enjoyable round.

Senior friendly
(Tounge in cheek) too much water for a 25 handicap golfer. Guess I need to play it again to familiarize with the water, which I will do! Good value for the money.

Don't Bother playing this one
Lack of maintenance, lack of grass where you need it (greens)and too much where you dont( tee boxes and fairways. Please make an effort like when you took our $$.

I'll be bCK
This is a very interesting layout & in fairly good condition. The greens were a little slow however rolled very nicely. When I pulled up to the bag drop the attendant came right over & unloaded my clubs etc. The entire staff was friendly & attentive. I was alone & got their early, the statrter gave me the option of joining a twosome in front of me or going alone. I joined the twosome & we had a delightful time. Although there were a few damp spots, they had no relationship to the playing area. This is an excellent value for the cost, shame on you if you don't enjoy !

First and Last time I play Indigo Creek Myrtle Beach
One of the worst maintained Golf Course I've ever played. The Tee Box grass was so tall that I lost my ball on it. Alot of Fungus Burnt patches on greens, leaky sprinkler system muddy spots, bathrooms: absolutely disgusting. Don't waste your money or time here !

Course in Terrible Shape
The course was overseeded so no carts allowed off path. This caused many delays. The fairways were all flooded and the tee boxes were terrible. I would like my money back for at least the carts. The game would have been faster walking. I travelled 15 hours to golf in Myrtle Beach and paid way too much money to golf at Indigo. Very disappointed!

Not up to MB standards
Had to walk the course. No carts allowed. Bad fairways,long grass on tee boxes and greens rough with a lot of brown spots. Ppl should be told when booking if carts not allowed on fairways.

Wet wet wet
Course was saturated. Sand traps full of water. Cart path only made for a miserable experience. Not sure why the course was so wet as other courses in the area were fine.

Cart paths only, due to Over seeding for winter, Dead spots on many greens and t he tees need some TLC. Like the layout but needs some work
