About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

First and Last time I play Indigo Creek Myrtle Beach
One of the worst maintained Golf Course I've ever played. The Tee Box grass was so tall that I lost my ball on it. Alot of Fungus Burnt patches on greens, leaky sprinkler system muddy spots, bathrooms: absolutely disgusting. Don't waste your money or time here !

Course in Terrible Shape
The course was overseeded so no carts allowed off path. This caused many delays. The fairways were all flooded and the tee boxes were terrible. I would like my money back for at least the carts. The game would have been faster walking. I travelled 15 hours to golf in Myrtle Beach and paid way too much money to golf at Indigo. Very disappointed!

Not up to MB standards
Had to walk the course. No carts allowed. Bad fairways,long grass on tee boxes and greens rough with a lot of brown spots. Ppl should be told when booking if carts not allowed on fairways.

Wet wet wet
Course was saturated. Sand traps full of water. Cart path only made for a miserable experience. Not sure why the course was so wet as other courses in the area were fine.

Cart paths only, due to Over seeding for winter, Dead spots on many greens and t he tees need some TLC. Like the layout but needs some work

Good Course
A nice course with a good layout. Some of the greens had some brown spots but not horrible. Tees and fairways were serviceable. Staff was very friendly. Would go again. Great price!

Nice course, nice folks
My wife and I booked 18 and only played 9 because a storm developed in the area. We had a nice time even though we were unable to complete the round. The course is nice, definitely a good value for the price, however we were more impressed with the atmosphere. The staff and patrons were very friendly and although this was our 1st time visiting the course we were welcomed and felt right at home. Good course, good people. We will definitely go back to play there whenever we visit Myrtle Beach.

What a shame
WEEDS everywhere, burned out greens. Nice layout but unacceptable conditions for a competitive golf environment as myrtle beach. There is a reason why their price was so cheap. The old adage you get what you pay for is never more true than playing here. I don’t usually slam courses but they need to either spend the money and make it more than a goat ranch or shut it down. Sorry to have to write this.

starter was excellent. played as a single at 1 pm. he started me on hole 10 because he thought it would be quicker. played the back 9 in 2 hours when I got to the first tee there wasn't anyone there. played the front 9 in 45 minutes. the layout is fine when played from the proper tee blocks. the greens were on the slow side. some of them shabby with bare spots. but with a hot deal price everything was a fair deal.
