About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Nice Greens
Greens I’n best shape I’ve seen in years. Fairways need help, like golfing on abandoned land.

Great layout
Every years I play a round at indigo creek, because I really appreciate the lay out and the kindless of all the staff. But if I play only one round a year it’s mainly because of the condition of the fairways. It’s sping golf in Myrtle beach and taking in consideration that the greens were in good shape. I’ll come back for sure.

Good golf course for the money
The golf course is in ok condition. The greens are smooth, the fairways were not over seeded and the Bermuda hasn't started yet

Don’t waste your money
Terrible fairways. Golf cart rubbish! Needed to exchange after 3 phone calls to the clubhouse. Can’t tell where the rough starts & the fairways begin. This course could be a top notch course but clearly they won’t spend the $$ to overseed and mow properly. Green were lightning fast which made the day very frustrating with all that is wrong with the course. Won’t ever waste my money to play here.

Nice greens
The course has a nice challenging layout, and probably the best greens we played on all week. Unfortunately we found the fairways exceptionally hard and extremely hard to hit good fairway/approach shots on. Too bad, otherwise we would have given it a top rating.
The staff we interacted with were also all very friendly and helpful.

Not happy.
Was raining so called course 1 hrs before driving to course. Guy told me course was open with light rain..
Drove 25 miles to course only to find doors locked.

Great coure but poor conditiond
Great course but the fairways were in really poor conditions and the greens felt like playing on a billiard table.
