About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Nice layout
I played the short tees as it being my first round this year. It still left quite a challenge. Greens rolled very well, Faster than they looked. The approach game needed some precision.
Can't wait to play from the whites.

Nice course
Good course for the money. Course played very fast. Lots of run, sometimes good and and sometimes bad. Water on many holes. Good challenge..

Nice Layout
We enjoyed the course a lot. Some of the fairways were a little lacking in grass, but it’s very early in the spring. Greens were good. It had several par fours that were relatively short, but had well guarded greens. We all said that we would love to play it again. The pro shop/ food area was a little lacking, but we were there for the golf.

indigo in march
second time playing the course in less than a week. Conditions still pretty god despite a lack of rain. Greens still very good. Packed every day. Course management is headed in a good direction.

Good value
Staff were wonderful. We appreciated that the starter didn’t make us wait for the second couple but sent us out as a twosome. Greens are in good condition - fast. Play was slow, maybe just due to the older foursome in front of us who just took their good ole time. But, being from Maine, we’ were happy to be playing March golf so we tried not to let it bother us. We played this course for the first time a few years back. It was in much better shape this time.

Loved the course
All was great we did not use any other anenities so could not rate and was no food cart we saw. If any improvement neede maybe the san quality

Vacation Golf
For the money it’s a nice course. Played 18 in around 3 1/2 hours so good pace. We joined up with two other golfers on the first tee. One knew the course so that helped.
