Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon offers two 18-hole championship courses, the Legends and the Champions. Nestled in the foothills of the San Gorgoncio and San Jacinto Mountains, both courses have a scenic landscape that offers stunning views. The Legends Course is the newer of the two but it provides just as challenging a game as the Champions, which is a PGA Tour favorite. The Legends twists and turns through the winding elevations, demanding accuracy throughout. Like its sister golf course, there are numerous steep-lipped bunkers treacherously placed along the greensides. The rough is also tall, thick, and unforgiving. The tricky par-3 fourth hole is played from the highest point on the property. From the tee, the canyon seems more intimidating but the wildly sloped green is where the challenge begins.

Great course!

First time playing here! Great course! Challenging indeed. Windy today which made it a little more difficult. Can’t wait to go back and I hope it’s not windy. Definitely recommend this golf course

Bank our fees and then forget about us!

Have always liked and enjoyed playing both courses at Tukwet. However, the last few times have been disappointing. Most recent round took 5+ hours to complete, ending in darkness and 51 degrees! We teed off at 12noon!! Never saw a ranger. Hence, one VERY slow 4-some held back several groups behind them all day (4 groups waiting on the 17th tee!) and despite our group requesting (denied) the opportunity to play through!! Course staffing is grossly deficient. Understand bar and restaurant being closed due to Covid, but you can at least put one ranger on the course!

Great Pace for the round of golf

It was already morning at 6;50 am when we started playing. It took 3 hours 30 min to finish the round. A lot of sectionals were not repaired though. Green was terribly slow. But overall it was very enjoyable.

Longest round I have ever played

Course was in good condition but had to wait ten plus minutes on every hole. Ended up leaving on the fourteenth hole after 5 hours of playing.

Great course

This is a great course to play for the money. The only problem is the pace of play.

Worst course I have ever played

They are building houses around the course and everything is under construction. I have never played a golf course in which they removed all of the flags and just left the stick in the hole. It was a complete waste of time to drive an hour to play this horrible course.
