Angeles National Golf Club

had an 1130 tee time walked in the clubhouse door it was locked had to walk all the way around. no cart access to the parking lot. club drop. carry my clubs there is no staff around anywhere. One person in the pro shop and paid she didn't say anything. There was no starter and no announcement for groups. I ended up just walking up to the tee by myself as a single and teed off about 15 minutes earlier. Nobody said anything. There was no Marshall on the course anywhere. The course is a challenging layout although the fairway was cut too short and too tight. The course is beautiful with a lot of vegetation in a mountain background setting but it is not worth the price that I paid $93 on a weekday morning.

Great course. Great day. Great pace of play. Seems like staff is one foot out the door. Not sure why. The vibe is kind of like we are interrupting their day. Needs some life, a little music in the pre golf area and a little more welcoming. Still, what a great round of golf. Best pace of play in years.

The course had literally just been sanded and so the greens were quite miserable. There had been no notice of this condition when i booked through GolfNow otherwise, i would have played somewhere else. I genuinely like playing here, the course is usually nicely maintained, the driving range is pretty good. There are no other amenities available. Staffing is a bit sparce, but the carts are clean, ice is available but you have to be familiar with where it is. There do not appear to be any Marshall's, so play could be better. Restrooms on the course are kept in pretty good shape. The 1st and 10th fairways are cart free zones.

The course is in great shape! New carts are quick, but tight on the GPS boundaries. 😂 Got around in 3.5 hours.

I played on Father’s Day, assumed that the course would be slow so my expectations were reasonable I felt like. Cut to when we go to tee off, only to find out the groups were 20 minutes behind already. No starter there to manage the first tee or push groups of two together. Found out there that they were sending people off every four minutes. Ended up teeing off 25 minutes after we were supposed to. No starter, marshal or cart girl to be found. The pace was abysmal, finished in 5 hours from when we were supposed to have teed off. Course was in good shape and the very few people we did see working were all great. But what an absolutely brutal job by decision makers on how to manage what they should have known was a busy day on the course.
