I tried to get a rain check because of the stay at home order but I couldn't because it was 24 hours from tee time. And I couldn't talk to anyone at GolfNow! A huge waste!

I’ve played this course on and off for years. Used to be very well run. Some Japanese company bought it and they clearly could not care less about the customer. No Marshals, pace of play is awful. I had to change a tee time because THERE WAS A FIRE IN THE HILLS NEXT TO THE COURSE. I’ve emailed 6 times and called at least 30. Still no response. Spoke to some woman, Mariko, who supposedly is in charge. She took my info and assured me she’d reach out with a credit for greens fees when I had to cancel because THERE WAS A FIRE IN THE HILLS NEXT TO THE COURSE. Hahaha still no communication. I love golf. A lot. And used to love this course. But it’s become an embarrassment. Even the employees make fun of how bad it’s gotten. Sadly, this review will not make a difference. But I feel better now. :)

There are no Marshall’s, no one caring about the customers in really anyway that they can do anything about. There is no GM, so no one taking responsibility for the lack of service. I never write reviews, but if you charge 156 dollars for your course, I expect a better experience. It’s sad because it’s a beautiful course with so much potential. All of the other public courses that are a third of the price care more about their course and customers. It’s sad to see, I wish the owners would sell the course to someone who actually wants the course to flourish.

Large undulating greens put a premium of iron accuracy.

Throughout the years, I've played here a lot and don't get me wrong, this course is nice and challenging but in all honestly, I'd play here a whole lot more if it wasn't so overpriced. I get it, it bears Jack Nicklaus's name on it but unfortunately, the value supersedes the quality in my opinion. There are a lot of courses in the area that are just as quality but for a way better price. If you're an amateur golfer and let's face it, most of us are, paying $94 during the week and about $132 for the weekend is definitely not worth it. However, with tee times scarce these days, you'll always find availability here but again, I believe there's a reason for that

Love this course and I know the ground firms up this time of year but it was super dried out. Driving the ball was fun but that was about it. Impossible to hold greens and putting was a joke. You'd think with their recent price increase from $130 to $156 they could afford to put a bit more water down.

Hot deal was definitely worth it. First time playing at Angeles and I really enjoyed it. Nice layout and very challenging. Good greens with subtle breaks on most holes.

This was 3rd time I play this course. Last play was over a year ago. I was completely forgetting the course layout. It was very high wind condition, almost 20yards different in both up/down wind. I did paly from blue tee.

The course condition was great in general. In some holes, you might need to avoid Driver unless you can hit over 240-250yards by carry because the bunker is located at 210-230yards position. I selected Spoon instead of Driver for ball stay at 190-200 yards position.

The green was so fast and the undulation was very tricky. I think 2 putts is normal in this course. I did 2-3 putts in every holes. Higher putting skill is necessary.

The GPS set on the golf cart was very accurate. (Hole 1 and 10 was cart path only.)

You can play music from your phone. It was not loud even turn to the max volume.

Please don't forget to bring a lot of balls. Maybe need one dozen for just in case. There's many bushes, and some water are located in this course. I lost one sleeve.

I only play this course if I can find a great deal on Golf Now for $50 or under because frankly the course is over-priced. I like that it is a challenging course and the greens are always in good shape as well as they have a good practice facility. But fairways tend to be very hard with tight lies. But today was a bad experience all around. They were out of carts which I can have some understanding because of Covid and because of that they were running almost 40 minutes late. And then it was totally a cluster outside the pro shop, they had 20 or more people waiting for carts and no organixzation to it. I felt sorry for the one employee that had to keep running back and forth to get carts and no marshalling at all on the tee. and then the round took 5 hours.

Very good overall. Great track. The greens are perfect. Unfortunately there isn’t much grass on the fairways. Fairways and greensides are tight lies because there isn’t much grass to work with.

Skeleton staff, nobody around to manage pace of play.

Course is a little rough.

This course is too expensive for them to not have a marshal out there monitoring the pace. It seemed like every employee had disappeared once we made the turn. We couldn’t get food or water. It’s a nice course, but it’s too expensive for what we received.

Fairways are extremely dry. Should be better taken care of for the rate.

When the fairways are as dry and brown as they are, many of the holes are practically unplayable due to the need of too perfect of a shot. Im an 8 handicap. A lot of these holes were close to not being fun due to the hard fairways.

Dont get me wrong this is a very nice course and design, but the up keep of the course cant be neglected. If it is, the course cant be played as the designer intended it to. That said I thought the greens were great.

As it is, its not worth the kind of money they are asking. If it was watered and taken care of it might be. Probably not during covid though.
