CrossCreek Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Hole #1 Photo submitted by joeskiluv31 on 12/30/2012
Greens punched
Greens had been punched. Couldn’t putt. No one told us at booking about the conditions. Did find out until first hole.
Great course
I had a blast playing the course but when they punch the greens and say it is lightly sanded that is not the case!!!! The greens looked and felt like a sand trap!!! Other than that it was an amazing experience and beautiful well maintained golf course
Enjoyed CrossCreek
Staying in San Diego so the course was an hour drive but I would say it was worth it after doing my research of course conditions in the area. Golf Now rate was $62 which was fair for this course. I was happy to see grass in the fairways and rough ! Inside staff was great, cart girl got off course early and we never saw her (tee time was 12:30 on a Friday), was told to speed up by ranger on the front 9 with a twosome in front of us and a twosome behind us (we were a foursome put together) and we finished front 9 in 2 hours and 3 minutes. Small stuff but now to the good stuff. Did I mention there was grass in the fairways ?! Greens were beautiful even though I could not figure out speed or break. Collars and rough around green were in great shape as well. Sure there were some rough spots on fairways and rough but overall very playable ! I loved the layout and nothing boring about the views on each hole or the layout of most of the holes. Definitely worth a trip to Temecula.
Great Course and Worth the Drive
Drove a hour to play at this great course but it was definitely worth it. Course quality was great and scenery was even better. Only thing is I wish there was better reception throughout the area. Couldn't get any bars throughout most of the course.
Great course
Beautiful as usual!! Favorite course in Temecula!
Good Course
OK value at $55. Course was in good shape and the scenery is pretty. It feels like we're out in the country here. No one was in front of us and we played really fast until we hit a party of eight (that's right, an eightsome) but they let the two of us play through! There's no cell reception out here, but there's free Wi-Fi by the clubhouse. The GPS on the cart isn't the cool kind with a picture of the hole; it just gives you distance to the green. The layout is interesting; there are some unusual holes to play. I'll come back.

My friend and me play a different course each weekend from San Diego to Palm Spring. This course was in great shape in comparison especially the greens. I hate when players don't repair their golf marks on the green, I usually repair two or three each green. Thanks to the maintenance staff.
Beautiful course with no cell service
It’s a great layout and challenging holes. Due to the creek and hills you will lose some balls. Absolutely zero cell service in this area so you’ll have to depend on the cart gps. Will play again if I am in Temecula and need to disappear for a few hours.
Fun course
Green in good shape, fairway for the most par good few dry
Areas. Some bunkers were maintained others farther from green not as much. Nice breeze in the hills kept it cooler which was nice. I’d play again, couple tricky holes, where course knowledge would have been useful
