First off let me say, take a range finder... sure they have GPS but it’s old analog grey screen stuff only numbers no pictures of the course. Arrived a little early to check in & get range balls. ***heads up they are only taking card payments currently because of the Covid. Course has always been great because it’s so far removed from the normal city life it’s very tranquil, if you bring your phone you may as well stuff it into your bag because there is little to zero cell service which really isn’t a bad thing. Layout is great multiple sets of tees for all handicaps, greens were running true and did receive shots pretty well. We scored a Hot Deal $40 and it was great when normal price was $64, shop staff, beverage cart lady & snack shop woman were very nice & even thanked me for coming out after the round. I understand why courses are having to charge a bit more currently but if you can score the Hot Deal take it!! Very much worth the little drive if you’re not from the Temecula area.

By far my favorite course. No distractions, noise, structures, etc......One with the course.

Always a challenge, fairways, greens, tee boxes in good shape, no excuses for poor play “it’s on you”.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable experience.

Interesting layout - full of risk/reward situations. Greens putted true.

Such a treat to get away from courses amongst planned housing communities. Finished in threesome in 3 hours 10 min with 6:50am tee time. Didn’t hardly see any other people outside my group during the round. Spectacular views and tranquil setting. Joy to play golf in an environment like this. Greens didn’t hold great but ran true and a little fast. Was bummed that no cell service to use gps/scoring app but the old school gps on the cart was sufficient. And certainly worth the trade off for the peacefulness.

This is a spectacular and demanding design with lots of elevated greens, blind shots and great scenery. There are times ive played golf on tracks I thought I died and went to heaven. At Cross Creek, I thought I died and was in Pergatory. Kidding aside, this layout is not for beginners. If you can't walk up a hill forget it.. You better know how far you REALLY fly your irons or Cross Creek will make you regret it.

A notable problem at CC is the cart GPS is not too informative. If you use one on your phone like I do, you can see the each hole layout with various carry distances. There is nothing in the cart other than basic yardage. There is no GPS or internet signal reception on the course that your cell phone can pick up. If you never played at CC get a map. They may have one in the pro shop.

Everything is lush and green and condition was great. Greens were really true and the best I’ve ever seen them at CC. Pretty far drive for me to get out there but glad that I did the course was fun

The course is in great shape. Greens are fast and smooth. This is my wife's favorite course in SoCal.

Evil from the back tees unless you can consistently drive straight and long Beautiful condition and extremely challenging. I will be back but I need to buy more balls

Course is following all health department regulations as it relates to the Coronavisa. Driving range and putting green is open for players only. The course is in the best shape in years. Fairways are cut low and rough is up. Greens are in good shape, but speed is slow. Definitely worth your time to get out and pla y there.

Greens were tough to read... on the shaggy side and since they were in seeding mode the ball moved off line quite a bit.... last time I played course was two years ago and the greens were in much better shape...

Great course and pace of play was excellent. One of the few courses to remain open for play during the CoVid-19 shutdown. The course closed the following day.

Thjs was the first time my wife has played there and she loved it!!
