About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Great day
The course was in terrific shape in preparation for the Jim Thorpe Open. We were fortunate to be paired with a junior competitor from Chicago. We had a great day. We started at 2:20 and finished just before sunset. Staff was excellent. I will go back. I recommend it.

Great course!
Love the course and great job on green.
However for visitors it looks like only play international course and I don’t have no ideas where to go and what it is .. would been nicer to understand standard of course.

Champions Gate
Superb course and facilities, very friendly staff. As a single golfer I paired up with a couple of members and we had a great round.
My only criticism was the pace of play for the first 4 holes until we jumped a coupe of very slow four balls who were ‘in my opinion’ not experienced golfers and dreadfully slow, unaware or concerned about us waiting behind them, and we didn’t see a Marshall.
Once we got through them our pace improved and we just got finished before the light went.

Great Experience
Top to bottom outstanding. Played both courses, they were very different experiences and both excellent. Biggest reason for writing this review is the staff. They really made me feel welcomed, I usually play muni's at home, so enjoying the country club feel and amenities was so much fun. Can't wait to return.
