About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

What a layout!
We stayed at the resort so it was great for us. The girls came out on Monday for 9 holes and we played the front. I played the tips and was impressed with the length. The next day I played the full 18 and was completely impressed! The back is even better then the front!
This is a must play with some forced carry’s, water and undulated greens.
What a great course and great staff.
Can’t wait to go back!!!
Slow
The course and staff were excellent. Only played 12 holes. There was a junior golf tournament the following day. Once I caught theJuniors practicing on the back tee boxes were stacked 3 groups deep.

Consistently Great!
I have played here many times over the last 6 years and I have never been disappointed by the conditions or the speed of the greens GIVEN THE TIME OF THE YEAR. The last emphasis is important because many tourists don’t understand the concept of overseeding right before the cooler months for the benefit of course health and playing conditions. Anyway, overseeding has gone well, the course is in great shape, and the greens are smooth albeit a bit slow. By now, they should be excellent! Great layout, great staff, and a real pleasure to play.

DISPLEASED
Thought playing on Thanksgiving afternoon would allow a nice afternoon of golf. Staff FABULOUS! Course beautiful. Pace of play, ridiculous!! Cart GPS reminded us over and over to keep up HOWEVER we were continuously held up on front 9 by 2some in front of us.
On back nine, there were junior golfers practicing for upcoming tournament.
We ended up not playing past Hole 12 as it was 4 deep waiting to tee off on a hole and we didn’t bring flashlights to finish.

Windy day
We played from the tips when the wind was blowing at 25-30 mph all day long and it was 52 degrees.
It was impossible even though we were stripping it.
What a great test of golf this course is.
Target golf most of the time so knowing the course is a plus.
The greens were cut and rolled and putted true.
Definitely need to play here again!!!

The recent overseeding and watering have created the most amazing green color grasses. It is so beautiful it doesn't even look real. We played in under 3-1/2 hours.

International is cart path only until first week of Dec
Was a bit disappointed to arrive at the course and be told it was cart path only due to overseeding on international. I played national the week before and was excited to try the links style course at international. They let us jump over and play national at the same tee time which was nice. But said they couldn’t do much in terms of compensation for the inconvenience. National was in spectacular shape. Fast true greens.

First time Awesome course and Layout
I really enjoyed my round this morning. Play to the yardages, pick a spot, and hit in there. Greens are in excellent condition, fairways and tee boxes were great, only thing is, a twosome husband a wife first out took 2 plus hours to play nine.. Once they finished up 9 we scooted around in an hour and half. Had back nine to ourselves. Awesome clubhouse filled with memorabilia
Course starters and Valet very personable, made it feel like they knew me. Keep up the great work.

Nice course for the price
I played the International course and it was in great shape. Greens were fast and true. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape as well. Starter states pace of play would be slow because National course greens and fairways over seeded and everyone playing International course. We played in a little over 4 hours. Golf now price was a great value.
