About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Great track, great conditions
First time here, had a great time. The course layout was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the links style layout and the mounds and bunkers everywhere. I was really impressed with the course conditions, especially compared to some other courses in the area that I’ve played this time of year. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were all in great shape and the bunkers were all properly manicured with good sand, etc. Staff was friendly and the beverage cart was out and available every few holes or so. I played with my wife and the forward tees are a little longer than she’s used to but there were no forced carries for her so it worked out well.

Slow
Putting singles out directly behind 5 4somes is a bit crazy in my opinion, if they are trying to sell out the course fine but put mutiple singles together to turn it into a 4 some

Harder than it looks
Beautifully maintained links style course, which is wide open,little to no shade trees. Greens large and fast making 3 putts common. Challenging holes with and water. Choose a tee box that fits your game or it will be a long day.Not a course I would play regularly, but if you think you have your A game go for it.

Excellent experience!
Everyone from the bag drop, to the girls working the clubhouse, to the starter, to the cart guys coming in... Everyone was helpful and as nice as could be. I committed the cardinal sin of Golfnow of having a free prepaid Hotdeal code to play the International course and missed my time thinking I was scheduled the next day. Called and they got me out end of the day and treated me like a member. Excellent course conditions. Bring plenty of water if playing late afternoon. Go play this course!

Course was well maintained and staff was friendly. Even got to see a few gators out by the water and one if the greens.

Pristine Greens
It's been years since I played the International course and I can't believe I've waited so long to get back out here. Course was in superb condition, particularly the greens. Greens were pristine, rolling fast and true. My wife noted that Championsgate International is now her favorite course. Club house has a lot of history, a great bar and the staff is awesome. We will be back often!
