About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Pristine Greens
It's been years since I played the International course and I can't believe I've waited so long to get back out here. Course was in superb condition, particularly the greens. Greens were pristine, rolling fast and true. My wife noted that Championsgate International is now her favorite course. Club house has a lot of history, a great bar and the staff is awesome. We will be back often!

Should not offer tee times to go off after a scramble
I love this course and play here as often as possible. This time however was below average. Showed up 45 minutes before my tee time and no cart was available to go over and hit some range balls, told me to come back at 1230 and could get a cart then. Realized that a scramble was about to begin with at 45-60 players. Shotgun start. Paired me with another player and started us on 10 , but still caught up to the scramble players by 15 and then it was a 10 minute wait for the rest of the round. Should have put us on the other course or given us a raincheck. Not happy!

Fantastic
Awesome. Awesome everything. Tees, fairways, rough was up and challenging. The greens were as good as I’ve ever seen them. Pure doesn’t begin to describe them. Credit to the superintendent and grounds crew. The entire course is in amazing condition.

Starter was great, got us out early.Staff were all very friendly. The course from tee boxes, fairways to greens were as good as you will find anywhere! Play was very slow on the back nine.This was not surprising, remember this is a resort corse, will not stop me from coming back. All in all a very nice day of golf.

Very nice course
It seems if you go play as a single you will play as a single. Maybe the day I went it was slow but didn’t care.
Really a nice layout, fairways wide most holes greens in great condition.

Guess nobody likes the late shift
Superior conditions as always, although spots still need watering, especially the rough. No one at bag drop. Waiting for carts. Then had to retrieve clubs ourselves. Still didn’t take away from overall course conditions or layout. Not very friendly.

Great course layout and fast greens, but no one has fixed a ball mark in a year
I felt like I was putting on the crater of the moon with all the ball marks and no one rakes bunkers.
The greens were fast and the course was in ok condition — but the people who play there obviously don’t care about the course.
