About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Tough course
Played the international course today due too a 58 dollar hot deal from golf now. Playe the national course last week and the international was a much sterner test. A links style course in the middle of Orlando but you did get the feeling that you were playing a true links. The 20 mph wind blowing in the open spaces added to the links feel. The speed of the greens were very quick and quite challenging. The course was in great shape and had a mix of high grass and tight lie chipping area. The pro in the pro shop was a very nice welcoming person. He made you feel right at home. The young lady in the bar was very nice also. Covid 19 was on there minds also. Sanitizing the carts, gloves et all. Just were serving hot dogs because of the virus, but I ate there a couple of weeks ago and the burger was great. Bottom line is, if you want a stern taste try the intl. Bring patience.

Excellent course
Booked through golf now for the amazing price of $46, course was in amazing shape. Was challenging off the black tees but very enjoyable, will definitely play again

Great Layout and Greens
Second time playing the international course. Got a much better rate this time around and thoroughly enjoyed the round. Layout is a blast and greens are lightning fast. Look forward to playing again next time I am in Orlando.

Good Round Wind was HUGE factor
This is a relatively open course so the way wind was blowing made a tough course play tougher. The course and staff are first rate, friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Course was in great shape. Ive played this course the last two years on my vacation and have been blown away both times. free valet and free range balls make the somewhat high price much more palatable. The clubhouse has fantastic food as well

Great value
This a pretty course with super friendly staff. Everyone we met was helpful and pleasant. They let us out early so we could get a full round in. The only problem with the course is signage. There are 2 courses and the signs are not clear or in the right spots to clearly know where to go.

Loved the golf course. Greens were very nice and layout is very tough. Played the blues unfortunately there was fog early on and didn’t see much of the first 6 holes... probley shouldn’t have let us out because of the fog but the starter Darryl was a total creep. The guy should not be working in this business. I never complain but went into pro shop to tell the manager how bad and ridiculous this man is... once you get past the jerk starter course is def worth playing. Will go back next time down .

ChampionsGate International course
Got in on a Hot deal through Golfnow so rate for this course was very good.
Golf course is in great shape. Greens were very good and rolled nicely. Played at 9am and was done shortly after one. Waited briefly on 2 or 3 holes so pace of play was good.
Challenging layout especially in windy conditions.
Staff was very friendly and will definitely go back again

Busy time of year
Given the amount of golfers playing now, it is a credit to all at Champiknsgate that the course is playing so well. Pa e of play great especially as there were 4 balls everywhere.

Overpriced. Not what I would expect from a resort course.
Played the National course. Course was very dry and not much grass in rough areas. Greens were above average. Fairways ok. Tee boxes a little tough.
Played a number of courses in Florida in much better shape and for a lower cost.
