Eagle Creek Golf Club
About
Eagle Creek is a British style course, from the bunkers to the chipping areas. It is a new 18-hole 7,198 yard-Par73 championship Orlando golf course and is located minutes from Orlando International Airport, near Lake Nona. Ron Garl and Howard Swan collaborated to design a course that has an old world charm with modern amenities. Eagle Creek is the first course in Florida to use the technologically advanced Mini-Verde grass, resulting in exceptionally fast and vibrant greens. Eagle Creek is a designated Audubon Silver Signature Course with lush landscaping and challenging play that features over 90 white sand bunkers reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England, with extensive bulkheads embracing water hazards and over 1,500 trees lining its breathtaking fairways.

Golfer Reviews
Wonderful place to play!
We played 10/4and 10/5. Course was totally dry. Greens seemed a little slower but we’re in great shape. Don’t hesitate to play here. Only downside was that the bar/restaurant was closed by 4. We would have liked to stay and have a drink or something to eat. All the staff that we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a great 2 days. We will be back.

Front Nine Only
The course was front nine only after the arrival of Ian. That said the front drained very well and the course extremely playable. It was a little frustrating that tee times were not allocated properly to allow for the second loop now was there any notification prior to arrival that only nine homes were open. That said, I wasn’t going to leave after making the days plans and while it took 5 hours to play I have left golf course less satisfied than I did this day. We made the best of it but communication would have been nice.

HORRIBLE!!! AVOID!!!!
Played golf 25 years and have never had such a bad experience at a course. Showed up for our 9:45 tee time at 9:56 because (which they don’t tell you) is in a secured complex that you have to check in. Was told by the manager tee times are like flights… if you miss it by a minute then you can’t play. Wasn’t offered a refund but told we could come back at 12:00 to play. Pace of play was horrible (5.5 hours). Course was average at best (no signs no water to drink). Showed up at the turn at 2:30 to get a drink and the snack area girl said she’s closing and can’t help us. THIS PLACE HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DONT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS!!! PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Beautiful and Green
You checking with Kathy, and she greets you with a pleasant smile. The course was in good shape. The starter provide you with the information that you need and any holes that are non-playable with driving the cart. The fairways were soggy bad drainage. The Teebox was good. The sand was a little heavy and wet. The greens for sufficient.

Super Slow for mid week
I played at 9:30 on a Tuesday and the round took 5 hours - unbelievable. 2 four balls tee’d off before us, we never saw the 1st 4 ball again. The 4 ball directly in front of us were painstakingly slow. We had to wait on every hole. After a few holes the ranger came up to ask if we had complained (we had not) and assumed it was the group behind us. He went up to the group in front of us (we assumed to tell them to pickup the pace) but nothing happened. If anything they were slower ion the back 9 ! They had no idea of ready golf !!
Putting aside the pace of play - the course is one of my favorite. I played with 3 guys I had not met before who were fun to talk to as we waited !!
Course was not CPO which was surprising based on volume of rain the night before so it must drain well. Greens were still a little bumpy (assume not fully recovered from last aeration). Tee boxes and fairways were great

tee time sandwich
Seems like everyone was booked between 10 and 11 am. On an empty day , we waited on every hole beginning with #4...too many hot deal times close together, bad planning. Course worth playing, in fine shape.

It was ok
First of all it was cart path only which made the pace of play very slow, the water stations throughout the course were empty and it was super hot so water would have been great. Also the cart girl with refreshments showed up on the 9th hole and the 17th hole, way to late and I was already dead from the lack of water

Pace of play
Last played this course in 2019 , then the staff more friendly & pace of play v good.
This time around the opposite, 5 hours to play 18 holes just not on ,& was told by starter it was quite that day.
I turned up expecting to play with a couple of other guys, then to be told they had gone off 15 minutes earlier with another 2 ball , leaving myself on my own to play,
Complained to the starter for allowing this & his attitude was this is normal practice, which I found disrespectful.
The rest of staff only average. Shame as it is a very good golf course & would play again if only for the layout.

Great Course Wet Conditions
Tee box fairway and greens all in great shape except, the water. Terrible runoff, soggy tee box and fairways. Sand traps terrible, no soft sand, hard and wet. It is sad because the course itself is a beautiful layout. I will continue to play this course but much better when it dries out.
