About
Eagle Creek is a British style course, from the bunkers to the chipping areas. It is a new 18-hole 7,198 yard-Par73 championship Orlando golf course and is located minutes from Orlando International Airport, near Lake Nona. Ron Garl and Howard Swan collaborated to design a course that has an old world charm with modern amenities. Eagle Creek is the first course in Florida to use the technologically advanced Mini-Verde grass, resulting in exceptionally fast and vibrant greens. Eagle Creek is a designated Audubon Silver Signature Course with lush landscaping and challenging play that features over 90 white sand bunkers reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England, with extensive bulkheads embracing water hazards and over 1,500 trees lining its breathtaking fairways.

Beat Course in the Area
Both the course and staff are top notch. Only downside was the lack of a beverage cart.

Greens are Sandy...Aerification
Unfortunately it did not go well this round. The greens are being worked on and I did not see or hear any notification. I play Eagle Creek every time that I am in the Orlando Area. This is the first time that I have been disappointed. It is a very good golf course just not this round. Staff is friendly which is a big plus.

Awesome course
Other than the greens being aerated the course was in great shape. I am looking forward to playing again when I return to Florida. The course is testing and yet open enough for all handicaps.

Aeration
Greens had previously been aerated which was never communicated nor was a discount given. I’m sure the greens are good normally, but this day we were putting over the aeration holes which could have used more sand.

OK Price when you get a good hotdeal
The greens were punched last week so the putting is very bumpy. It is starting to grow in, but it still has several weeks to go. Once the greens are about healed they will punch again in July. I would not pay the full price to play here in the summer because putting is a big part of the game and you just can't do well putting at Eagle Creek in the summer.

Always a Good Time
The course had recently been aerated so the bumpy greens were expected and is a necessary evenly although they were still puttable. Other than that the course conditions were great. Should be in optimal condition within two weeks once it fully recovers from aeration. Pace of play was great…we had no one in front or behind is the whole round. And I always appreciate the very forgiving layout.

Great fairway and first cut!
Hard to find a bad lie on this course! Great shape, greens will be pure in a week or so.

Everything was great, except...
The greens were plugged and it wasn't noted anywhere when I made the tee time. I didn't pay much with a deal and code, but still. It's too bad because the rest of the course was in great shape. Two putt greens.

UCF buddies
The aerated greens were in much better shape but still a little bumpy. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape with the bunkers a little wet from the rain. All said it was an excellent day and we all played pretty well in the windy conditions. Will definitely go back again.

Great course / great condition
Really enjoyed playing here. Staff was great / starter (Pete) got us out before a big group of guys (23 total). He made it a point that he didn’t want us to get caught up or feel rushed, which was nice.

Aerification
I love playing this course. It's a nice set up and a fun track to play. What I didn't like about today is we weren't notified at the time we made the tee times that the fairway's and greens had recently ben Aerified. The greens were litteraly unplayable. That makes for a bummer of a day. In a couple of weeks they will be better and by the end of June they will be perfect. I know it's a necessary evil, but I'd liked to have known before I booked.

Pro shop fib about greens being punched
Was told on the 20th that greens would be punched with very small tines, that was completely incorrect as we found out after paying what we all thought was more than fair given the greens conditions. However that all pales in comparison to the pace of play. The 9:24 couple in front of the rest of us apparently never, EVER, heard of course etiquette as they appeared to be completely unconcerned as a twosome in holding up several groups behind them. The problem was compounded by horrible marshaling. When marshal was notified of the problem before the turn, the request to inform the couple of the hold up they were creating was completely ignored as the problem continued to the 18th hole. The couple must own the course. Hope this type of issue is noted and better handled in the future. Will be back when the greens recover
