Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Quite interesting. Relatively easy but the greens are fast and difficult to read.

When I checked in at the pro shop, I was labeled as a “pre-paid” customer and treated as a second class citizen. The remainder of the staff seemed more interested in their “full price” players or members. While the course layout was interesting and the corse conditions good, the carts lacked any club/ball washers nor did they provide any towels to clean the balls or clubs.

This is a fantastic course. Enough of a Pete Dyer challenge to keep you on your toes. Great driving range and the staff is exceptional. You will enjoy your round.

Had a great morning playing the course. Met some of the members who were very welcoming.

We started as a twosome and without our knowledge, we were asked to be paired with another twosome after the third hole. Although a foursome now, we waited on every hole due to extremely slow play as 2 foursome decided to join together as an 8-some. With no consideration to the groups behind them our round took 45 minutes longer then it should have. No course marshalls were present for the entire round and the proshop was closed on the turn to the back 9 holes so we were stuck with this very dissappointing situation. Very poor course management.

Course conditions were outstanding. Because this I'd a Pete Dye course, it is very difficult. My advice it to play up a tee box for maximum enjoyment.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is a decent layout but I found the greens and fairway to be only average for this time of the year.

Consistently enjoyable course. Only drawback is it would be nice to have a convenient place for après golf drinks and telling of lies.

We ejoyed the experience and would reccomend it to a friend.

First hole was ok but from there it was great day.

What a great course, really had a great time, holes were challenging but very fair and very well laid out. Just had an awesome time from the shuttle to the driving range. They even laughed at when I told them what I had for Breakfast.

Challenging course with accuracy on your approach required to score well. Lots of sand around the greens but bunkers well maintained and manicured.

Pace was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is trying to find the Snack Shack at the turn.
