Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Course condition was fine with green fairways and greens but dead sides that played easy. Went behind some really slow people. Asked ranger twice to help and never did. Good for the price course would play again

The fairways were in TERRIBLE condition! Apparently they somehow screwed up their over-seeding process by leaving some unwanted chemicals in their over-seeding machinery. And it stopped half of the grass seeds from sprouting. It looks more like fertilizer-burn on the ground, so nothing will grow. So all of the fairways are this mottled patches of some grass growing among dead Bermuda grass. Pretty ugly and yet they are still charging full price! I love the course layout, but there are TRULY better places to play at these inflated prices. Avoid this place until next year, I know we will and so will the other couple that played with us.

Very sad to report that the fairways are in poor condition and not up to the usual standards. Lots of bare bermuda patches where the over seed hasn’t worked. That said it’s a great layout and the greens are in good condition

I was very disappointed with the condition of the course. Fairways were in poor condition. Rough was worse. The traps had standing water In several. For a Westin property. Except a lot more for $190

This is a fun course and facility. Disappointing conditions, fairways were mostly in bad shape.

The staff was great, but the course was not what you should expect from a "golf resort" course. Limited signage directing you to the next hole. Tee boxes not well maintained or designed.

The practice facility is great. But the pro shop needs to communicate better with their greens crew. The pin position is always in the same place no matter what day you play, the fairways and some tee boxes are patchy brown dirt with no grass and some bunkers have mud and pools of water in them. It was mentioned before we teed off that one hole had the tees up, playing as a par 4 instead of a par 5 but there was no maintenance being done on that hole. There was maintenance on number 11 which was "closed" the last time we played it but they were still working on it. It used to be in much better condition and it appears to get lots of play, but I cannot understand why as it had really gone downhill with the conditioning.

The fairway over seed has not worked so far this year resulting in patchy fairways. Greens are however in good condition and the course is a good layout with a few challenging holes

I always played and liked the golf course when ever I came to Palm springs. This time I have noticed that it's maintenance has gone down. I still like the layout and challenges. Play if you get a good deal!

Challenging course with great views. Only really worth it if you can get a hot deal in my opinion, 10th hole had a temporary tee to make it a par 3, they were working on fairway bunker. Worth a play if you have never been out.

Had a 12:20 tee time. They were 30 min behind because they had an outing that morning. Started us on 15 but ended up in the middle of the outing. As a foursome we waited on approximately 10 of the 18 holes. The course layout is nice but the conditions are lacking. Bare spots in the fairway abound, bunkers not raked, tee boxes beat up and range with few balls and deplorable shape. Saw b v cart once in 18. A little disappointed given the quality for price of other courses around it.

Overall this is a course with a nice layout and is a lot of fun.

Unfortunately the time I played, the overseed had not come in the way it should have and the fairways and rough were pretty bare and the course was definitely not in the shape I would expect
