Slow greens and sand traps in poor shape

Thanksgiving day round so not busy but pro shop closed so we couldn’t get a shirt at end of round. Wish they’d have mentioned they were closing early

Very poor shape and very slow play. Quit after 12 holes.

Friendly staff cart path only and flow greens as just over seeded

Classic Pete Dye resort course. Great course in abysmal condition for the money. 2 weeks out of overseed, but the course is in uncommonly poor condition even considering that.

Normally love playing this course but not when it has been recently over seeded which it was. There was no notification on Golfnow.

Greens were not cut down enough, very slow. Everything else was good.

Unwelcoming staff in the pro shop that seemed to set the tone for the round. Asked to us a driver from their rental sets, but they wouldn't allow it. I needed one as mine did not make the trip. Water was available on every other hole, but no cups provided. Fortunately the woman running the refreshment cart appeared in the fairway of #6 and solved that for us.

Tee boxes were very beaten up, choppy, uneven and in need of significant repair. Bunkers were not playable with at least 50% of them ungroomed, some with significant water in them.

Greens were very furry and hadn't been rolled. So each putt was an adventure with no consistency in roll or direction.

Fortunately the folks working at the turn at the restaurant provided much needed friendliness.

The course was in good shape coming out of over seeding recently but the greens were painfully fuzzy, ,slow and not rolling true . There was almost no difference between the fringe and the green. Hopefully the greens get mowed ( or a waxing ) before my next rounds on Monday 11/20 and 11/22

Horrible conditions for an overseed course. Course should of waited a couple more weeks before reopening. Fairways were like playing at a muni and the greens were liking putting on carpet. Same price or even cheaper you can go play other overseed courses which are in great shape.

Tee boxes were not fit for the cheapest muni. We were told that the greens were running slow. That was quite the understatement. They were borderline unplayable. So disappointed in Westin. I would expect for the price we payed that the course would be in top condition. I won’t be back.

We found our full golf experience to be very disappointing.

#1 - Tee boxes were torn up as if they hadn’t been moved in three weeks

#2 - Greens were really slow and erratic - such that roll-out wasn’t true.

#3 - Fairways weren’t grown in adequately

#4 - Traps were all wet and caked with mud.
