Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Loved the course. Green side bunkers needed work. Hard as cement with 1/4” of sand. Lots of rain last few weeks likely the cause. The greens were perfect!!!

Fairways were green, sand was old and hard with no edging. The rough was mostly made up of weeds. Most holes had backed up to have 2 groups waiting. Not worth the cost of the round.

Beautiful day. Pace of play of perfect! Fairways and greens were in great shape, but off the fairways, conditions were shabby. Staff in pro shop and starter were very nice and efficient. Price for the valley was comparable.

Golf course in good shape except outside of the fairways. Could use batter care of the rough areas.

Tees fairways and greens are good. Good speed on the greens. Collection areas have very little grass on them. Overall design of course is very good. Challenging golf course.

The front nine is in horrible condition, the back nine is passable. Only holes in good condition are near the hotel/resort, starting and ending holes. The staff that I dealt with were lukewarm to unfriendly. Our foursome matched up by the starter all couldn’t believe the poor condition and were thankful that they had only paid a reduced mid afternoon rate.

Bunkers were terrible very little sand. Must have been a nice course in its day Not worth the money.

Westin resort Pete dye course had great fairways and greens, but they’re rough area and the area around the greens and the sand traps were horrendous. Fauci, your regular turf around the greens and the sand traps hardly had any sand in them and were hard.

A noticeable decrease in quality since the last time I played the course 10 years ago.

Nice course, not spectacular but nice, well kept and nice Mountain View's

Tee to green the course is in very nice shape. The rough looks as if they did not overseed and is spotty with weeds and bare spots. The bunkers are terrible. This really affected my rating. Staff is friendly and helpful.
