Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Great course, challenging without completely frustrating!

Great from start to finish. The pro shop, starter , refreshment/cart woman and of course the golf. Course was in beautiful condition and considering it was extremely hot there was plenty of water to refill our bottles and soak our towels

The course was in excellent condition. The pace off play was good. The greens were challenging, however very consistent and true. Overall an excellent course, will be back to play.

Fun round although score wouldn't say so. Enjoyable great hot day but enough breeze to cool things down a bit but still mess up your club selection

Rough and traps were horrible (where I spend a lot of time). Fairways and greens were excellent. No bar/restaurant for non members or hotel guests.

No direct access to our villa.

The course needs attention. Off the fairway the rough is very dry. The greens are so hard if you land on the green without a very high shot everything rolls off. It’s like putting on a pool table. The greens need punching and sanding. Landing on the green doesn’t even leave a pall mark they are so hard. Lots of three puts by our 4 some.

This was pretty good. The course has a lot of promise when its in better shape however the grass around the greens was very spotty and many of the pin placements were extreme.

We spent a lot of time looking for the snack shacks and when we finally found one, it was closed temporarily. When we came back by it a few holes later we had to go and find someone to come to the window. Ten we were told that we couldn't use cash! That's when we gave up and just finished our round and left.

Also seems that later tee times were treated as if we were an afterthought and not worth 100% effort. Good course but far from a good experience.

This fabulous Pete Dye designed course continues to deteriorate. Rough is sparse and unplayable, bunkers can't even be described as "bunkers", no sand, hard as a roadway and unkempt. Premium priced golf for substandard conditions., greens are terrific, fairways good, rest of course needs a lot of attention.

A nice course to play, but unless you're getting a deal on the green fees it's not worth it. Biggest complaint is that there is only one cart girl and she goes home at 3:00.

This wonderful Pete Dye design continues to deteriorate. Fairways and greens are good, everything else far below average, horrible bunkers (rock hard, no sand) rough is non existent (better conditions on the side of a highway). Not sure why there is such a situation. Delighted to pay a very low price, otherwise would walk into pro shop for a refund. Play somewhere else.

Terrible condition, mostly the front nine. My foursome were all in agreement that booking this course was a mistake.
