About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Quaint.
I'm 75 & my wife older we've played here for 25 years it's nice but too tough for our age group but it's a habit.

Old course, great layout.
This course is still in decent shape, but they need to overseed for the winter months.

Great pace for a sat afternoon
Some greens were a little shaky and some fairways also; it’s a long course from white tees but no body said I could not move up a set. Big grass driving range was packed

Ye Gads. Do you love fivesomes?
Love fivesomes? Then you have a new home. Five old guys, in five carts, playing from ladies tees, parking on the fringe of the greens and not letting anyone through. Sound like fun? Well it is not and management chooses to ignore the problem. More than one fivesome observed too. Disrespecting golf etiquette and other players makes it difficult for everyone except, of course, the abusers. They could care less about anyone except themselves.
An apology is empty and meaningless if it does not address the root cause and need for the apology. Apparently management uses an apology as a diversion to deflect future criticism rather than as an positive, needed, corrective action.
By the way, I apologize for bringing this abuse to management's attention - thus inducing management to make an insincere public apology to deflect future criticism about this matter for which it intends to do absolutely nothing. Management has made the same apology numerous times in the past and done nothing to correct it. Welcome home golfers. Fore!

Like this course, but in lesser shape than a month ago. Hoping for better conditions soon, its a great design.

A little "rough"
Greens were half excellent, half dirt. Great speed. Anything off the fairway was either tough to find or nearly impossible to hit because it was so deep and/or wet. Course isn't too difficult and still fun.

If the staff can take care some of weeds on fairway and patch more grass on bare spots, the course will look beautiful.
