About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Great Round at Wekiva
The staff was really friendly and everything about the club was great. The greens roll true, but a few appear to be slightly stressed. The fairways were really good and the course layout is fun with many dog legs and plenty of bunkers. Most of the players seemed to be locals and we played behind a regular men's group but they kept the pace. This is a good choice in the Orlando area for a fair price and excellent staff.

Good for the money
Parts of the Fairway are bald greens are good sand traps are good overalls not a bad course

Was once much better
Golf is getting so expense that this course will eventually be priced out of existence due to the conditions is they aren't improved.

Open Layout, Well-Maintained, Great Value
I really enjoyed my time at Wekiva today. There isn’t much water on the course and the fairways are large enough for the amateur player.

Wekiva for the win!
Was in Orlando for work and wanted to golf with some buddies that live there. We looked around and everything was out of our price range except for Wekiva. Best $40 I've ever spent for green fees. Course was fantastic for the price. Will be playing there again.

Great for the price
Very friendly course, it looked really busy when we arrive but everything went well even without a starter!
Course was In good condition, greens were fast. It’s not the Ritz but for the price could really recommend it.
Watch for the signs so you know where to go!

Average Florida 1970-1980 Subdivision Course

Forgiving
Busy but good pace. Not much water - fairly forgiving. Greens are decent. Fairways mixed but better than some. Friendly staff

Course was in rough shape in terms of the fairways and several tee boxes. Some “tricked up” holes that made it hard for first time players to enjoy. Staff was great but I would not recommend until the overall course conditions improve.

Overpriced
The only thing that keeps me from playing the course more frequently is the price. The greens are good except for 17 (which has no grass) and a few spots here and there throughout the course. The tee boxes are in good shape except for some of the back tee boxes which are being abandoned (the course is not that long-these tee boxes should be reestablished and maintained at this elevated price point). The fairways are average at best. There are lots of bare spots and unevenness throughout the course. I'm not a normal critic of cart paths because to me they do not distract from my enjoyment of the round, however these paths are disintegrating and offer a very bumpy ride (as do much of the fairways) and for the increased price point I think most people would expect a little more. The pace of play today in the morning was good. The layout is fine (its enjoyable to play). Like I said the course is enjoyable it's just overpriced (morning times with taxes are $45-$60). For that price, on the north side they are competing with courses like Redtail and Victoria Hills both of which are similarly maintained but much much better courses. And from downtown Orlando for that price and within 30 minutes there are just too many better options. Again, the course is fine. It's just overpriced. Eagle Dunes is cheaper, Rio Pinar is cheaper, Twin Rivers is cheaper and all offer similar or better conditions and superior layouts. If you find a deal for around $30 it is worth it. For the $50 range I think you might find yourself disappointed.

Very challenging - great greens
Nice facility. Very friendly staff. Great greens. Fast and undulating. Played in 3 hours 45 minutes. Small driving range which we could not use, because it was full and the members were going out after us. Would play again.
