About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Good layout but course needs a bit of work. 17 green is unputtable and alot of areas around the fairways are weeded and uneven rarely allowing for a good lie. Pace of play was terrible with no starter.
First time playing Weviva
Wide fairways, challenging fast greens. Lack of rain has left the course a bit dry. However, you get lots of roll off of your shots. First time playing this course. I will definitely play here again.

Pretty good shape overall
17 green is really bad, test of course is good. Fairways really nice in most places, very few right lies

quiet and woodsy
I always enjoy this course. A 40 minute drive, part of my regular group of courses. Friendly pro shop. There are several greens that need attention, however...17 green still has a ways to go.

Very nice course. A few greens need care along with a coule of tee boxes but overall in good shape. First time here and will come back. Treated well.

Tight lies
Grass on fairways was sparse and tight; i.e., no cushion under the ball. Greens were fast and in great shape. I would play again but would like to see the fairways a little more lush.

Forward Tees Arre Not The Enemy
This course has a lot of vintage character, and whle the greens were fast and true and shots down the fairway sometimes rolled forever, the pace of play was unforgivable.
Starting on the second tee we waited with the threesome in front of us several times because of a super slow foursome 2 holes ahead. Early on the course manager passed us on his way back to the clubhouse and apparently didn't say anything to clear up the logjam. One twosome left after nine but when we and the threesome come to the 10th tee we all had to wait for the foursome to clear the fairway. The threesome finally decided to not take it anymore, go on to the 11th, and play the 10th last. We thought the foursome wouild take a clue when the threesome passed them and let our twosome play through but they did nothing for the entire back nine. THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN!

Great Round at Wekiva
The staff was really friendly and everything about the club was great. The greens roll true, but a few appear to be slightly stressed. The fairways were really good and the course layout is fun with many dog legs and plenty of bunkers. Most of the players seemed to be locals and we played behind a regular men's group but they kept the pace. This is a good choice in the Orlando area for a fair price and excellent staff.

Good for the money
Parts of the Fairway are bald greens are good sand traps are good overalls not a bad course

Was once much better
Golf is getting so expense that this course will eventually be priced out of existence due to the conditions is they aren't improved.

Open Layout, Well-Maintained, Great Value
I really enjoyed my time at Wekiva today. There isn’t much water on the course and the fairways are large enough for the amateur player.

@RockyCobbler sadly you are correct. Instead of getting outside for some fresh air and exercise while supporting our local businesses and keeping my social distance from the old and vulnerable such as yourself, I unfortunately attempted to try this course out again seeing as I have always loved the layout and haven't played it yet in 2020. To my dismay, it is an absolute goat track. It doesn't take much to cut the grass on the green at reasonably the same length with a lawn mower. There was literally rough and overgrown st Augustine in the greens. Seeing as your main purpose in life is currently do attack any sub-4 star reviews for your home course here, I can tell you that you are quite effective at keeping customers away. Everyone else: If you have access to a car like most Americans do yourself a favor and drive a measly 5-10 miles down i4 and play one of 5 other immaculate courses for less $.
