Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Needs improvement
Wekiva Golf Club was a huge disappointment! The course IS NOT worth the 40 plus dollars they changed. A lot of the fairways are just plan hard dirt. I understand it was a cold cloudy day however, this course needs a lot of improvement. Management needs to get improvement lessons from Stonybrook West Golf Club.
Great place to enjoy great golfing !
This course is a beauty. Challenging and very enjoyable. Good mix of some long par 5, plenty of long par 4s and great par 3s, like hole 17.
Nice
Greens were in good shape. Played in under three hours
Nothing special
Overall the course is ok. It has few memorable holes (well 17, pure tricker, is an exception). It has water but not often in play. The teeing grounds need work. The fairways and rough have different types of grass (Bermuda and St. Augustine?). The greens were slow and could use a rolling. There’s been a lot of rain recently so the course was wet and maintenance was behind, which was understandable. Practice areas abound but we did not avail ourselves of the opportunity.
The waitress at the restaurant is worth the price of admission. Very good, very personable, and very funny. A good reason to return.
Over booked just like the airlines.
No starter, no ranger no one in control. Waited 5 to 7 minutes per hole. Gave up after number 10 and went home. Not ever coming back. A ranger should have been speeding up the slower players but no one seemed to be in charge. Had this problem more than once here but won’t ever be having it again.
Nice course
Nice course. A few hole a bit wet because of the rain.
why
Only problem was 3 groups of 5 players ahead that made no offer to let me play through, gave up at#7 and drove over to #10 where ran into 2 more 5somes. I know would have been same # of players ahead but 4somes would still move faster no reason to allow skins game to go as 5somes. Will play elsewhere for awhile.
Nice course but better values at same price point elsewhere
I always enjoyed playing this course but for the price point it's only average. They add difficulty not by making holes have obstacles but by length alone (like a 450 yard par 4). Nothing special and will use my $$ at same price point elsewhere. $32 for a twilight summer rate I expected conditions like the other resort courses at this price. I got a run of the mill average course.
Great course fair price
Great course fair price, it is well worth the money. The course is quite nice with some minor challenges, and very different on every hole. There's not a lot of water so I didn't lose too many balls, amateur friendly. Great place for the money give it a shot .
Very Enjoyable
I've always enjoyed playing here because the course is challenging but very fair. Has been in very good condition the last several times I've played.
Decent
Decent day. Nothing special, crazy slow (5 hour round). Greens were in good shape.
Improving everyday
I have been playing here for years and the course has never looked better. This is in my opinion the best golf deal in the area currently.
I read the response and although there is a claim is isn't the norm it absolutely is the norm. Members do whatever they want which is why I never play here even though I live about ten minutes away. I now travel an hour to paly rather than getting stuck behind "members" who really don't care about visiting players.
