Raining day
The course was still in great shape after it rains.
Great Course
This course is always well maintained and fun to play. Greens rolled true and fairways held up well.
Consistent Quality
Reliable as always for a fun and enjoyable round of golf. Tee boxes, fairways and greens consistently in good condition. Fun layout with good variation on hole types and layouts.
Pembroke Lakes Golf Course
The staff was superb
Loved the golf course I really had a great time
I will definitely talk to my buddies about coming to play here.
Reliable
I can always rely on PLCC for great conditions from tee to green. Today was no exception.
Worst pro shop customer service
The most rude and unprofessional interaction I’ve had with a proshop. Out of courtesy I called in advance to cancel my reservation - the guy told me to call golfnow or he would charge me and hung-up on me!
I called right back - the same guy said I should never book through golfnow and said he would not help me ...”its like you booked a delta flight and youre calling America to change it ...we will charge you - it’s your fault” They should not be on golfnow if they are going to treat bookings in this way. Normally really great people there - but this individual was awful.
Nice layout - not worth the money
The greens are like carpet, slow and shaggy. Would be a good course for $35-45 but not more than that. The layout was fun with a lot of risk reward depending on club selection.
Very Nice
Good greens. Challenging from tips. Fairways and grass all in good shape. Water on most holes. Tough par 3s.
Good pace of play 4 minutes behind pace according to cart GPS. Sunday afternoon.
Greens are slow
Greens were running a 6 on the stemp. Had 2 balls picked up from the middle of the fairway by players on other holes. Pay 20 bucks more and be surrounded by decent people.
Challenging
Course has water everywhere so read the website and use the information to play your game.
The greens are in good shape not super fast but I found it hard to read some of the breaks. . All
And All the people I played with were very nice and helpful. Book a tee time you won’t be disappointed
Only major negative is the driving range, you hit off a Matt into water, I HATE MATTS and water driving ranges
EXCELLENT Experience
Played this course at early on a Wednesday morning,.
First and foremost, the course is in SOLID condition for a public course. - Tee Boxes: A-
- Fairways: A-
- Greens: B+ (Great shape, just a bit too slow, need to be mowed)
- Bunkers: B+
- Rough: B+
- Cart Paths: A- (Sand/Waste hazard style cart path smooth look)
- Overall: A-/B+
Second, the course layout is GREAT. Variety in length for the Par 3s, several Par 4s feature heavy doglegs requiring both shot shaping and Driver-Iron decision off the Tee, and the Greens have quality undulations. Par-72 around 6,900 yards for me from the Tips- not a long course, but a challenging course with some tight fairways and challenging designs.
Third, amenities. Good clubhouse, good range, good chipping and putting areas, the carts are GPS equipped, and the staff is solid.
As a native South Floridian who plays golf approximately three times per week, I will definitely be coming back here as soon as possible and highly recommend it. Arguably top-5 public courses in Broward County.
Experience: A
Worth the drive
One of the nicest courses in the region with well manicured fairways, abundant bunkers (with nice sand), lots of water hazards and lush Bermuda greens. Fairways are fairly generous if you avoid the bunkers and don’t try to overpower the course. Greens are subtle and a bit slow. A scenic layout and well worth a visit. I come down from New England every winter and this course is now in my top five. Staff is friendly and we got around in under 4 hours.
