Best golf for this price
We really apprciated Pembroke Lakes golf club. We only pay 32$ for one of the best golf course we ever play.
Back To Form
One month after slogging through a soggy track with battered greens, I and a playing partner romped through a two hour and-a-half trek on a scenic course in near-immaculate shape. The golf balls stood at attention in the fairways and rolled true on some of the best-conditioned greens in South Florida. The strategically-placed bunkers were fairly soft and the tee boxes were nicely manicured, as well. While not a brutal track, course management often came into play for this average handicapper, especially on water-bordered fairways. The golf carts do have GPS. Adult beverage service was brief, which was not unexpected, given the surprisingly sparse number of players on a sun-drenched afternoon. The pro staff and attendants were attentive. The chicken wings in the restaurant were most delicious, putting the cherry on top of a $17 Hot Deal that was nothing short of a Hot Steal.
Pembroke Lakes Fantastic
The greens are excellent and every part tee to green was great
nice day
It was a bit warm but the course was in good shape and the pace was good too
Call Before You Go....
The $27 Hot Deal at PL should have raised my eyebrows, but I had no idea this fun track would still be so spongy, since there has not been much rain in the area. But thanks to PL's notoriously slow-draining fairways and greens, conditions were not optimum for a sweltering spin around one of the generally, best-maintained courses in South Florida. While the fairways were muddy, but playable, the greens were nicked up pretty badly. Still, our foursome enjoyed wheeling around the nearly deserted course in four hours. All was not pleasant, however. The pro shop attendant was friendly and efficient, but the tall cart attendant seemed put out. The cart girl promised to return during our round, but did not. We found out that she was sent home. The restaurant food was tasty and the service was solid.
Nice track excellent staff
Course played well even though it had seen a lot of rain and greens where air rated a week ago
Starter was great and knew his stuff
Course has all services w range hitting into water
Great value
Played here after heavy rains nailed S Florida for days. Was amazed at the conditions; course drained really well. Only 6 cart path only holes. Conditions are always solid here. Greens were in good condition and rolled true. Nice layout. Will definitely return.
Incredible Value
Always enjoy playing this course. The conditions are always excellent. Greens roll true. For the price you really can't beat this course.
Well maintained
Course is always well maintained. Greens are usually semi fast and true. Water comes into play on many holes. Fast fairways so hit it straight.
Terrific deal
Got a hot deal and two of us played for about $90. Played in about 4 hours. Course in terrific condition. Pin positions were real tough and greens were fast but the course is very fair and accessible to high and low handicappers. I’d be happy to play there again.
A Chill End to a Steamed Start
Several weeks ago, I played a most enjoyable weekday round on the consistently best-conditioned track in Broward County. A Saturday morning excursion at PL provided a different experience, however. Three foursomes of tourists in town to celebrate a bachelor party were shoehorned in front of our foursome. These raucous out-of-towners were friendly enough, but they were painfully slow as their skill levels and their revelous pit stops begged for a 4 pm start with many fewer players on the course. Unfortunately, the starter would not allow us to commence our round on No. 10, whose tee box was unoccupied for 15 minutes. Thoroughly teed off, our foursome ended up teeing off 20 minutes late, but we were able to bypass the partying, soon-to-be-sunburned lads who took an extended break after the front nine. The second nine proceeded at a brisker pace, even though we caught up to a slow-footed trio that stretched our round to nearly 4 1/2 hours. As usual, PL was in superb shape with flush fairways, well-repaired divots and ball marks, and verdant, true-running greens. The beverage cart service was the best I've seen in the past six months and took the edge off of the tortoise-paced round. To top it off, the happy hour victuals at the restaurant were as tasty as the service was superb. A sublime ending to a ridiculous beginning....
Our round
Enjoyed playing the course but pace of play not good some holes had three groups on them all waiting
