Good choice
A variety of hole layouts , well groomed sand traps and small ponds/lakes & streams. But not so many to require precice placement of tee shots.
The greens are subtly undulating and in great condition.
Did not use the clubhouse .
Pro shop employees were friendly.
Greens
Greens did not roll evenly, lots of ball marks. This can be fix easily by the maintenance crew when they roll the greens in the morning. The remainder of the golf course Washington on very good shape.
Very good condition but a bit wet considering all the rain over the weekend.
You make a mistake I reserved for two pay for two and you take for only one we must to play after the tee time we supposed
Pembroke Lakes golf club
So a very good surprise. Golf course in really good Shape ,excellent greens.
Very friendly staff, restaurant and bar.
I will play again at Pembroke.
Soft but good conditions
Course is in some marshy terrain. You end up using a lot of divot sand. Greens are peppered with ball marks but seem to roll ok. Great layout. Lots of water. Would play again.
Fun course, great greens
Friendly staff at the proshop got us going. We were out at 7:14 so pace of play wasnt an issue. 5 tee decks to play from. Course was in great shape. Greens are undulating and have lots of character (but people need to fix ball marks better). Great mix of holes that are risk/reward, dog legs, straight. Only downside is there was coffee and breakfast available and it took about 5 minutes after our round to find someone at the bar to get a beer. Overall very enjoyable and will visit again.
Decent value
Overall favorable. Some wet areas, especially green front which was curious since the starter advised us to “run the ball up” to the greens. Nice layout; challenging but not unfair.
Joke
Made a tee time for Saturday morning. Called to confirm on Thursday the guy in the shop said he didn't see it. Just a "nope". Made us another one. Showed up another 4some had the same tee time. Sent us off the back. Place was slammed. Terrible pace. - cart said we were 40 minutes behind pace after 9. Rude staff - One of the employees was yelling at a customer for being late like he was a child. Left after 9. Paid for 18. Asked if they could offer a refund they said they don't do 9 hole rates. Seemed like this was a normal day at Pembroke Lakes. Go to Jacaranda instead. Jersey will make you a nice sausage egg and cheese wrap and greet you with a smile.
Best golf for this price
We really apprciated Pembroke Lakes golf club. We only pay 32$ for one of the best golf course we ever play.
Back To Form
One month after slogging through a soggy track with battered greens, I and a playing partner romped through a two hour and-a-half trek on a scenic course in near-immaculate shape. The golf balls stood at attention in the fairways and rolled true on some of the best-conditioned greens in South Florida. The strategically-placed bunkers were fairly soft and the tee boxes were nicely manicured, as well. While not a brutal track, course management often came into play for this average handicapper, especially on water-bordered fairways. The golf carts do have GPS. Adult beverage service was brief, which was not unexpected, given the surprisingly sparse number of players on a sun-drenched afternoon. The pro staff and attendants were attentive. The chicken wings in the restaurant were most delicious, putting the cherry on top of a $17 Hot Deal that was nothing short of a Hot Steal.
Pembroke Lakes Fantastic
The greens are excellent and every part tee to green was great
nice day
It was a bit warm but the course was in good shape and the pace was good too
Call Before You Go....
The $27 Hot Deal at PL should have raised my eyebrows, but I had no idea this fun track would still be so spongy, since there has not been much rain in the area. But thanks to PL's notoriously slow-draining fairways and greens, conditions were not optimum for a sweltering spin around one of the generally, best-maintained courses in South Florida. While the fairways were muddy, but playable, the greens were nicked up pretty badly. Still, our foursome enjoyed wheeling around the nearly deserted course in four hours. All was not pleasant, however. The pro shop attendant was friendly and efficient, but the tall cart attendant seemed put out. The cart girl promised to return during our round, but did not. We found out that she was sent home. The restaurant food was tasty and the service was solid.
Nice track excellent staff
Course played well even though it had seen a lot of rain and greens where air rated a week ago
Starter was great and knew his stuff
Course has all services w range hitting into water
