nice day, pace a little slow
beautiful weather, course was in good shape. Got paired with another couple and it was very enjoyable. Pace was a bit slow but not unbearable.
Windy day
The course was in great shape. The play was a bit slow but the day was wicked windy and there was a lot of water on the course. I'm sure this impacted everyone.
It's not the prettiest layout from the perspective that it runs along roads and noisy. I'd golf there again but I didn't have my best day and would basically want another shot at it. :)
Pembrook Lakes golf *****
This cours is perfect, not to long, not to difficult and in very goodd condition.
AWESOME course!! Conditions close to perfect; a local said the greens playing slower than normal due to recent rain, but still good speed. Highly recommended!! Cool driving range sending "floaters" into a lake, not great for ranging but novel.
Great course, terrible customer service
Loved the course (conditions, layout, etc.) but very poor customer service. They did let us start on hole 15 as the 1st tee box was busy but we literally had one hole left (about 5:40pm) and we were told that we have to pack it up as the" city" rule is all carts have to be in by 5:30pm. I've never heard of this but we still decide to play as we tee'd off at 2:20pm and sun didn't set until 5:50pm.
We were rudely told to stop when we tee'd off and then the guy working at the cart barn was uncaring. Didn't ask how our round was, or clean our clubs and told us he needed the cart right away as we were tallying up the score.
All in all, great course! Not too bad on the price either as many courses in the Miami area can be expensive (as I'm used to paying around $20-$25 and I'm from Orlando, FL) but if you're about customer service, don't go. If you don't care and want to play a nice course, definitely go.
First time
My son and I played this course for the first time and enjoyed it. Course was in good condition and the greens were quite good. Will remember this next time we come down to this area of Florida.
A great day of golf (10 am -2:30 pm)
My group enjoyed the quality of the course, the fairways and greens were in excellent condition. All 4 players (all different skill levels) enjoyed a perfect day at the course We will play this course again.
Great course in Miami
Maybe not such a long course but nice layout and great greens.
Nice course for the money
Didn't have any expectations coming in but was pleasantly surprised. The course conditions were top notch. Pace of play was on point and staff was very helpful and friendly. Love that they have gps in the carts and they were clean and maintained. Course is tight behind some greens but not a deal breaker. Some huge drives will get you close to the green so bomb away.
Nice golf course
What a beautiful golf course. Great layout and conditions. We played on a hot deal and the price was right. One of the few golf courses that know if you keep your prices reasonable and the course in good shape, golfers will come back.
Excellent Conditions
Fun course, challenging but fair - tight off the tee on some holes but not all. Course layout makes you think about how to approach each hole differently. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and especially greens are all in excellent condition. Only downfall to our round was that it was a very busy day, but we still made it around in just over 4 hours.
We played 3 different courses on a trip to Florida. This course was second best in terms of condition, but by far the best value. We paid twice as much at the course that had better conditions.
Staff
Finished the round and waiting for the course staff to come and clean the clubs as customary , they just stood there chatting , had to take my clubs to the car with dirt because they were too busy chatting. After a moment I realized this is a City Managed Course, and performance expectations are not high, who knows. Bad service in comparison to the maintenance of the course that is way above par, beautiful greens well maintained.
Good value
The course is excellent condition, the greens are challenging but fair. With a hot deal, this made a more enjoyable day!!
Almost very good
Pace was painful but that may have just been bad luck of who we got behind. Would have rated the course much higher but the greens were way too slow. Fairways and tees very nice.
Great course
Pembroke Lakes is one of the best public courses in South Florida, great conditions of fairways and excellent greens
1st timers
course was in great shape, challenging but fun layout. restaurant had noon buffet also excellent. price was very fair for course, conditions.will be back!
Good course
We played this course as we didn't get our first choice, great course for the price , it did rain but didn't spoil the round. We had eight guys and no one had a bad word to say about the course. The couple in the bar looked after us very well.

Great course
Very good course, well maintained
Above Average for semi-private.....
PLCC is an established Par 72 course North of Pines Blvd just off Taft Street. The course is interesting with several dog leg holes on both nines. Course maintenance on our play date was EXCELLENT. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were all top notch. Green are challenging depending on Pin placements. Lots of multi-level shelves and slopes. Only drawback was the course staff, not the friendliest bunch...not rude by any means, just servicable. Go play if you like the green fee cost....you won't be disappointed.
