Fun round
This course was a lot of fun especially for it to be the first time playing.
Excellent Course
The course is in perfect conditions. Very challenging with a lot of water in play. The only downside is that there is no Ranger out on the course to monitore pace of play or handle unruly players. Nobody came out after I called the pro-shop complaining about a group of players going in front without asking permission, driving over a green fringe, going back and forth different holes, and it goes on....
Great course for the $$$..
When you arrive , it doesn't look like much, but after playing to the second hole the course opens up nicely.
Great conditions and good character. There is a fair amount of water , so hit them straight and not as long vs. long and not as straight.
Good
Nice and funny golf course. The first 9th holes are a little noisy with the cars, ambulances, etc. from the streets. The second is better. Not so easy golf course, many difficults thru each holes. Carry a lots of balls.
Best Public Course Around
As a south Florida native, I must help my fellow golfers who hop around make a choice. Pembroke Lakes is a must play if you are looking for excellent conditions with a good layout. The tee boxes are two tone. The fairways are flush and the greens are true and fair. Great value just watch out for certain peak times as play can be slow at times.
I should also mention if you are a single like myself, I have been paired with nothing but good people and some decent golfers.
Challenging!
I had a great time and enjoyed my round. The day was windy and the course has plenty of water, bunkers. and trees. I played really bad but worth it. The greens were the best of all my local courses and very fast. I would play there again given the opportunity.
Lot to offer with great price/quality
PLCC offers very nice golf conditions and, compare to other golf courses, it's a great deal. First nine holes are very challenging with water and out of bounds all over the place ! Nice layout too.
Nice Course
Played this course while visiting the area on vacation. The course was in great shape, especially the greens. The greens rolled fast & true. The layout was also nice. Very good layout for the average golfer. The only downside was the pace of play. Our threesome finished the round in 5 hours. There were no rangers on the course to be found to keep play moving along the morning we played.
Great value
Terrific course in excellent condition. Greens not lightening quick but very good condition and very true.
Fairways and tees also in very good condition.
Pace of play was very slow due to four balls and lots of elderly and slow players....over 4.5 hours for 18.
Amenities were all excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
All in all, highly recommend for the money paid. Not the longest course but plenty of water and challenging approaches. Excellent.
pace is excellent except fairway condition is dry. Finish 18 holes in 3 & 1/2 hours
Very good greens
Very nice lay out for the average golfer ,several tees to chose from . The starter got us paired up with a couple and it was a very enjoyable day
I would play this course again.
Course was in excellent shape. Greens were average in speed and the ball rolled true to your line. Fairways were also in great shape. I will definitely play this course again the next time I am in this area. Only issue I had was the group in front of us was extremely slow. By the end of the round they were about 4 to 5 hole behind the group in front of them. Would have liked to see a ranger move them along. The problem would have been if they let us through, they would have had to let the rest of the tee times behind them through. They were that slow.
