This course looks easy, but is on every hole a test

Course is always in great shape. I've never played here and seen it in bad condition. Green fees are very reasonable. Highly recommend this course.

The course is in good shape. We always enjoy playing here.

Fairways were marginal (3 stars) with weeds and some bare spots. Greens were true with a few lumps but still 4 star / 5 stars. Course is a varied and challenging layout. Enjoyed it very much. As military, this was the best value golf I have ever played in SD! Great day. People were friendly, pro shop well stocked and carts were in good shape. Well run course.

It is a pity my irons were not on my side today, but my drives and putting was, so... not bad at all. I enjoy playing this course as often as I can.

5 hour round. I love playing this course but the pace of play is terrible. The marshalls are only waterboys. We finished 6 and we had 4 groups on the par 3. I walked up to tjhe right side of the hole and hole 8 had one group on the green. Hole 9 had one group on the green. One person in our group called it in to complain and the Marshall showe up about 10 minutes later and said it was stacked up, which it wasn't. We were 14 minutes ahead of pace and finallay teed off 14 minutes behind.'

Was a little hesitant when we first got here. Looked like a high end country club. Wasn't sure how the reception would be, but the staff were friendly. Beer prices were good. Did not order any food. Course was in great condition. Fairways were lush and green. Greens ran true. Tee boxes were ok. Little lumpy in some spots. Lots of dog legs made the course challenging. Overall, had a great time, ane definitely reccomend this course.

Get out and play. Best shape in years. Greens could benefit from some love.

The rain beat up this course, still plays good, but a lot of standing water. I’ll be back, I like this layout a lot. Should be in good shape soon.

Considering all the rain the north course was in good shape. Nice to have a cart girl during the week.

Great course. The fairways are still growing in. Patchy in some spots. The greens are in good shape. 4 hour round on a Tuesday morning.

All things considered the course is in good shape. With the amount of rain we have gotten.. it is not great waiting on evey shot. You cannot get into any kind of rhythm if thats the case.. this is not specific to this course

Fantastic course. Challenging but still open enough for an average golfer like me. Had a blast and will be coming back.

It was a cool sunny day - about 60, but it was just after significant rains that necessitated cart path only - no problem there. The course is in a flood plain so there was still standing water in numerous places - but overall the crew did a good job of making the course playable. In fact the bunkers were perfect in spite of the rain. These bunkers have the deepest sand of any I have played in San Diego. But as the title suggests - I did not appreciate a 5+ hour round of golf.

nice pace today at noon tee-off. greens are young and beat up b/c players don't fix divots . bunkers are nice sand.! some fairways are thin and also thin around greens. course needs more attention. tee boxes are fine. overall it's a track about mid-level condition. great for the price and if you are a so-so golfer.

Or the 3 courses we played while here Admiral Baker was the best of a poor poor lot of courses. We have been extremely disappointed in reception, course conditions & amenities where we played. San Diego needs to get its golf game on. We won’t be back here anytime soon to play golf here.

The course suffers from too much play. The greens which were replaced ~10 years ago are in really rough shape. Won't be back
