North at Admiral Baker Golf Course

Very good condition. Nice greens. Overall, open fairways.

played North Course today and as usual course was lots of fun. Fairways and greens were in good shape. One of my favorite courses in San Diego.

Nice layout, interesting track. General condition no that great and greens had been punched 4 days earlier. We were told it would be,OK...

Far more interesting than South course.

Very slow play today. Took four hours to play 14 holes

they had punched the greens but they were o.k. slower than normal but o.k.

4 hour rounds are lovely. pace of play was great

Admiral Baker North is a somewhat demanding course that does let you get away with some errant tee shots. The greens are almost always in good conditions. They were a tad slow but that is because they are about to punch the greens on June 3 and 4th. $25 with cart at 3:14, took about 4:15 to play which is about average in San Diego on a Friday.

The pace of play was excellent. The course is in great shape. Had a real nice time.

Had a 2:15 tee time Hot Deal. Figured would be able to get in 18 and let the rush hour traffic North sort itself out. Turns out that the CIF golf tournament was in the morning and had just concluded. Arrived at 2:00 and were told that we could go right out. Paired up with another twosome and teed off on a completely empty North course. Unfortunately, there were only the tournament tees (Blue+) and the other twosome wanted to play white, but we just hit from white tombstone (my wife did same from red/gold). We play fast and the other twosome were good players, so the upshot is our four went around in 3:20 minutes. While it meant we had to head back to Del Mar area in 5:30 rush hour traffic, we did so with big smiles given the great time and fantastic pace on ABN. Also, given the tournament, every bunker was ranked with no footprints (from the normal lazy knuckleheads.) Looks like Torrey Pines won the tournament as well. Way to go Falcons! A perfect day and round!

White tees are about 6400 yards and the Gold tees are about 5500. There is nothing in between. I would like to see the course around 6000 yards. I am over 70 and find the Whites too long and the Golds too short. A combination would make the course more enjoyable.

Otherwise it is a nice track.

The restaurant is very good.

It’s a really fun course. No houses to hit and the greens are pretty great.

Played earlier than usual. (7:36) It was great. Pace of play was excellent. Course was great. Had a great time.

Excellent golf course, wide open fairways. Meaning more golf balls, in your golf bag, great golf shop.

baker north has a great layout. good elevation changes combined with wind, makes it more challenging that the score card indicates. it's a course you can walk away from sure that you'll score better the next time, then you may not due to wind, pin placements etc. the greens were good, as were the bunkers. some of the fairways are spotty and the Bermuda type rough is inconsistent. we keep going back to baker north and do enjoy it each time out.

Everything was great, except...no marshalling where needed. Our foursome was one of at least three that had to skip a hole to get around a foursome that obviously didn't care how many groups were stacking up behind them.

The track was fun. The course conditions were less than ideal. The front nine was in worse shape than the back nine. Fun course to play. Good value for the money. We would play again.
