Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Shafted on my round

Booked 17 holes on golf now. Showed up and got told, sorry you can only play 9 at 4:30. That's not true since I've played 18 at this time before, but it definitely wasn't worth it. $33 dollars for 18 at twighlight, or $29 for 9.

Well last time I risk losing out on a full round by going here. Finished the 9 in 1.5 hours and even played two holes twice. Not worth it. Go somewhere else.

9th green

I took my son for his 11th birthday. all in all, we had a good round. when we got to the ninth green, we heard a noise in the trees and thought someone was hitting up on us. someone was throwing rocks at us when we were trying to putt. rocks kept landing on the green right next to us.

On our way to the tenth hole, I stopped and let the pro shop know what was happening and they were on it right away.

Everything about the course was fantastic. Tee boxes clean (except ball washers were nonexistent), Fairways very well trimmed and consistently maintained. Greens well groomed. Overall, best value for the money.

Unrealized Potential

This was actually a really fun course to play. What is needs is better oversight.. The only staff visible at the club house was a young lady behind the cash who provided limited information plus the servers in the restaurant/bar. The course was in reasonable condition but cart paths, tee box accessories etc. are badly in need of maintenance. This course has a lot of potential that is not being realized due to poor management.
