About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Great course and value
Everything about the course was fantastic. Tee boxes clean (except ball washers were nonexistent), Fairways very well trimmed and consistently maintained. Greens well groomed. Overall, best value for the money.

Hats off to the grounds crew. Tee boxes clean, fairways consistently mowed, greens smooth and well groomed.
Love this course. Clubhouse could use some modernization but came here to golf.

Unrealized Potential
This was actually a really fun course to play. What is needs is better oversight.. The only staff visible at the club house was a young lady behind the cash who provided limited information plus the servers in the restaurant/bar. The course was in reasonable condition but cart paths, tee box accessories etc. are badly in need of maintenance. This course has a lot of potential that is not being realized due to poor management.
Decent Course
The course is in good shape. The layout is nice and challenging. It was a bit windy which added to the challenge. Had a decent time. Its worth playing.
Worth the drive
Indian Hills has been a favorite spot for me, I stumbled on the little Jem one day after another course decided to cancel all tee times after 7:15 in a frost delay?? They gave all earlier times first off at my original reservation? So we gave Indian Hills a ring only 15 minutes away and they told me they will get us out come on down. I wasn’t there more than 5 minutes and was in line with a cart. We all love this place so much we’ve been here 3 out of 4 times a month, great people, staff, restaurant and course boom
Hard course plays long….
Very challenging course great fairways and green. Rough tee boxes. Lots of undulation. Hardly hitting off a semi flat lie. Liked the course would definitely play it again. NO RANGE THOUGH to warm up which sucks. I’ll never understand why a golf course wouldn’t have a range.
Been playing this course for a few years now , best bang for your buck I’ve hit a lot of courses and these greens are one of my favorites when they are in top shape
