Indian Hills Golf Club
About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Decent Course
The course is in good shape. The layout is nice and challenging. It was a bit windy which added to the challenge. Had a decent time. Its worth playing.
Worth the drive
Indian Hills has been a favorite spot for me, I stumbled on the little Jem one day after another course decided to cancel all tee times after 7:15 in a frost delay?? They gave all earlier times first off at my original reservation? So we gave Indian Hills a ring only 15 minutes away and they told me they will get us out come on down. I wasn’t there more than 5 minutes and was in line with a cart. We all love this place so much we’ve been here 3 out of 4 times a month, great people, staff, restaurant and course boom
Hard course plays long….
Very challenging course great fairways and green. Rough tee boxes. Lots of undulation. Hardly hitting off a semi flat lie. Liked the course would definitely play it again. NO RANGE THOUGH to warm up which sucks. I’ll never understand why a golf course wouldn’t have a range.
Been playing this course for a few years now , best bang for your buck I’ve hit a lot of courses and these greens are one of my favorites when they are in top shape
Better hit it straight.
While all the other courses in the area seem to be punched or are charging $100+ for a weekend round, this was a gem to find. Fairways in great shape. Greens appear to have been aerated prior to all the rains so they recovered great. Tee boxes all seemed level and very playable.
What I didn’t realize was you need to be pretty accurate off most tee boxes. The trees and houses are ready to take any errant shot and dispatch them wherever they like. Local knowledge is definitely a plus here so you know “where not to hit it”.
5 hours on Saturday seem to be the norm on SoCal public courses. But still felt like they bunched tee times a bit too close. But for only $60, on a Saturday, I’ll definitely be back.
Great Value
Good place to get dialed in at. Could definitely put up a good score if you keep it straight. Don’t need to be long off the tee on most holes
Good Pro-Shop Lady employee, Rey very good restaurant employee
Arrived before our teetime. Rey at the restaurant had a good hotdog and he even spend time with us and made us feel welcomed. Nice conversation with him. Another good experience was the pro-shop lady employee. There was an open time that there was no players so she decided to allow us to tee-off ahead of our tee-time. Even gave us a senior rate price. We will definitely play again at Indian Hills. Loved the pro-shop lady and loved Rey at the restaurant. BTW, we also loved the golden kitty. Nice cat...
Great course to test your golf skills..
It was my second round playing at this course. I will definitely play again as I had fun playing it.
Not the easiest nor the most difficult course. It give you a great experience.
Green seem to be a little bit slower than expected but overall the course is in great condition.
Pro-Shop Employee
Played 4/05/2023 and ALWAYS the lady on the front desk of the Pro-shop is always nice, kind very respectful, warm to customers/players. Way better than the guy. We the group have been playing this course for several years and the lady (kinda tall) is very nice to us and other players. We will always play here as long as this employee is still working here. Jurupa Hill, the daughter or the girl on the pro-shop is terrible. Always wants to over-charge players. No senior rates coming from her. They need to get rid of that girl.
