Spring Valley Golf Course

Spring Valley is a well designed, challenging and enjoyable course to play any time but it is one of the few in the Bay Area that remains enjoyable in wet weather. Only 3 holes (9, 10 & 18) suffer real problems with standing water and even they a playable. Drainage is such that we encountered no muddy bogs.

My partner an I have played once a week through this wet rainy winter. Spring Valley is the only course that has been consistently fun throughout this weather.

Course provides challenges for every level golfer. Nice long par 5’s with water hazards on par 4’s. Fairways a bit wet but to be expected with the abundance of rain. Greens were in good shape. Overall nice course can’t wait until they finish the driving range area.

Somewhat disappointing is the lack of cell service. Not for issues of wanting to talk on the phone but if there’s any sort of problem from cart not going up a hill or stuck (dead battery). Otherwise great place to golf.

Well maintained and great place to play long holes game.

You can’t go wrong with spring valley, not a super long course but still challenging at times. Decently maintained and things move alone well. They’ve been working on their driving range for the last four years it seems like but once they get that running the course will be perfect for your mid to high handicappers

The scenery is spectacular. Challenging putting greens.
