Course history
The guys really enjoyed the history and the houses surrounding the course.
Would play again
Course is in great shape with fast greens and fairways very well kept. Some traps could use more sand was my only issue.
North course is very nicely kept. Was a very pleasurable experience. Will look at playing the north and south courses even more.
Nice course with a great view of the mountains
This course is obviously the less loved course of the two in Indian Canyon, but it's worth a play. The course was in great shape with the exception that there were no collars around the putting surfaces of the greens. The course is a little tight (lots of palms along fairways. Traps were a little inconsistent in the amount of sand. We enjoyed the play and would play again.
OK Golf course
Course is fun to play, pretty open.
People are really nice.
Paths are awful.
Traditional old style desert course
A lovely traditional old desert course. Relatively open and no real gimmicks. Just straight forward golf holes. The par 5 doglegs need to be handled with care and sometimes tee shots with long irons only to stay out of trouble. Greens and fairways were in great condition and the staff all friendly.
Would like to see more yardage markers - to help in shotmaking but that's a minor thing, when so many people now carry a GPS tool.
Enjoyed the experience so much I booked a second round.
Beautiful course, in excellent condition.
This's as our first time on this course and we really enjoyed it. The wide fairways and large greens make for a very f.rienndly round of golf, especially for average golfers such as we are.
A very nice course.
Staff was very friendly. Course was in great shape (maybe partly due all the rain they had the two weeks before). Very forgiving course with wide fairways and few hazards. Sand in bunkers was a little hard. Round was a little slow but it was a Saturday; took 4.75 hours to play; waited a few minutes every hole.
Great time golfing
Had a great time golfing at this course. Staff were very friendly. Course was in very good condition. Greens were a fast. Would definitely golfeel here again.
Nostalgic Experience
This was the place to play in the 50's and 60's when Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and many other celebrities were regulars. The course is in great condition but flat. High handicap golfers should book the South course for a more challenging experience. The pace of play and the staff were both excellent. The course winds through a housing development that was developed in the 60's and 70's and has some interesting homes. I could play this course everyday as an average golfer. Give it a try and I'd say you'll enjoy.
Pretty good
This course was very easy to play. Not much challenge here for advanced golfers, but perfect for casual golfers.
The snack cart came by frequently, which was good since outside snacks and drinks were forbidden.
A bit pricey for what it is.
Tired
I have played this course over the years but have not been here for a few years. The cart paths need work and the fine manicuring you see on a lot of desert courses is not there. It appears that all the attention is spent on the South Course. Also the sand traps need to be worked . They are as hard as concrete, this could be from all the rain.
They don't even offer you free tees and ball markers for a price of $72.00.
Over priced for what you get.
