Nice Course
The golf course was in good shape, the weather was good, played late afternoon but was able to get in all 18 holes due to pace of play. Course is challenging with well placed sand traps. Look forward to playing the course again soon.
Great value
Met a fellow from same home town on third hole and we actually knew many of same people. It made for one great day of golf. The small greens and tight pin placement made it a challenge , but will help when returning to Orlando where the greens are as big as parking lots. Loved the experience.
Greens need grass!!
Course was mostly ok but greens were not in good shape. Beverage cart showed up at 15th hole for the first/only time. Also, no starter so three two-somes in front of our foursome made for a long round!
Well designed course
Great course . Good layout . Very enjoyable to play at this time of the year .

Golf
This is a nice golf course the staff are friendly. It is in good shape and with a little TLC it could be a great course. I will be playing it again.
Terrible greens conditions
Greens are in pretty bad shape, our cart ran out of battery.. Which they did bring us a another without the gps .
Two holes you park and there are raccoons sitting and waiting to go through your cart, nasty, they were there last time I played here too!
Good Course
Good course. Greens need some work. Overall, very challenging but will return.
Stating the obvious
Im not going to repeat what everyone is saying. You read the reviews, so don't be surprised with how much sand it out there. Its what its known for.
Yes, it is obvious that it used to be something special, but for whatever reasons, it is no longer held to its previous standards.
Greens are in terrible shape
But for me, if your paying less then $50 at most times to play, what do you expect. We paid $35 because we started before 9am. I would 100%, without a question pay $35 and play again, play most courses for that matter. I think people need to be a lot more realistic with their expectations.
Heron Bay
Course was in decent shape for paying $29 on golf now. nice open florida track. a little boring with just sand all over. fairway bunkers need work. greens rolled fine but a touch slow and grainy. hot day with a bit of wind which added to the challenge. good to have gps with hazard distances. course management is big so as not to land in the multitude of bunkers. tee boxes were a little rough. the problems were no water on the course(water coolers empty), only vending(no water or ice) at the restrooms stations, no cart girl or rangers. a group started on 10 as we took the turn. overall i enjoyed the course as a change of pace and would play again if price were same. maybe once a year. 8th hole closest to the pin was fun for $5 and i won $15 merchandise for hitting it to 6' 2 3/4".
Excellent course
Lots of sand traps that challenge you to keep it straight. Any left or right off the tee causes you pain. I love this course and look forward to playing it again soon
Thunder showers didn't stop me
I've to often read bad reviews about this course. How the greens are bad, how it isn't as great as it was...etc. All I can say is boy are they wrong. It poured over Broward county during the night and I really thought it was going to be a lousy round. I paid $17 on GN.com so who cares right? This is what I got. The bag boy was polite and super helpful as was the guy in the pro shop. I decided to play and what a round. The tee boxes were excellently mowed, the fairways were wet but dried out fast and the greens were dry and fast. The sand traps were wet so I stayed out of them. Cart has a GPS and it makes manoeuvring over and around the traps easier.
Some golfers want to pay 25$ and expect Augusta National. Here you get a mature course with beautiful houses and lots of wildlife. It's really worth a round if you're in the area.
Life'sa beach
Good challenging course for medium to good players.Lots of bunkers to contend with.As the GPS system was not working it would have been good to have some yardage system in place.
decline
6 hour round ! We dropped our bags off at the drop off location entered the club house and paid. waited 20 minutes to get a cart no one to help us we had to walk out to the bag drop get our own bags. no marshals on the course . there was a six group a head of us then a lesson was being given on course with no curtsey to let us through you would think the pro would know that.
The bunker zone
Greens were very bumpy, they need to be rolled at least twice a week. The cups also needed to be changed, same pin placement for a few days. I was actually shocked by the condition of the course. I will play it again, very cheap on golf now.
Disappointed
I enjoyed the layout the conditions could've been better the greens were terrible I paid less than what they normally charge which I was glad for cause I don't think it's worth the $69 they're asking
Golfer Couple
A land with a beautiful environment of play. Each hole is different with lots of sand. There milestones departures for all types of golfers. Unfortunately when we played the field was not in good conditions.
Good thing we had a discount on GolfNow which rewards for the poor quality of the land and green that day. Will we be back, ????
Heron
good overall course, a couple of greens were choppy. Friendly staff good food at turn, very nice course to play when on vacation.
What a shame!!
After my playing partner was told the course was in great shape, I drove +45 minutes expecting it to be the same. We didn't enjoy being misled or outright lied to by the pro shop, the starter and the rest of the staff. If you don't mind putting on greens that look like a high school freshman's acne filled face, avoid this track at all costs or at least until they figure out how to save their greens, get back their fairways, put a rake in each trap and maybe replace that half a rake we found on one of the back holes. BTW at least cut pin placements in the better part of the green where you can putt from in the meantime. Overall neglect.
Very very disappointed!!!
What happen no one to check in your clubs. The course is in sad shape. Not even a starter, the sand like a hard rock. Sooooo sad this used to be aTPC course. Now it's a PPS p###poor course! After eight holes we left.
