Rough conditions, no course mgmt from staff, 5hour round, conditions sub par for 125 fee, heard went down hill and agree. Won’t come back

Great layout that has fallen into disrepair as apparently management is not interested in investing into the course. Wrist conditions of any course within 50 miles but they charge more than any other. Don’t be fooled by the reputation. This course is simply not what it used to be. Look at all the recent reviews criticizing the condition and the slow greens.

I have okayed emerald hills regularly for the past 15 years and the past few weeks the course has fallen into condition that one would expect from a $20 municipal track. Paying between $140 and $175 for greens in that condition is a total embarrassment. Course is being sold in a year and a half and so management is saving money on getting it in good shape will gladly collecting high greens fees from guests.

If you are coming from out of town, please try one of several other courses in the area. It is truly sad how the course has become a cow pasture.

Loved the layout and condition of the course. No boring holes at all. Minor issue that the driving range is irons only and off hard mats.

Cindy in the bar was most friendly and all in the cart area very helpful.

Only wish that people playing the course understood the concept of etiquette. Very disappointing how disrespectful and entitled some people can be. 5 hours for a two-ball in a cart is very slow and only due to others in front that cannot keep a reasonable pace.

Furriest greens I've ever seen. Their mower must be broke. No warning given. Do not waste your moneys

The layout good. Condition: not good. Range mat: awful. If the course is in a good shape, my recommendation would be yes.

Course was in great shape. Nice layout. Staff were courteous and helpful as it was my first time there. Rental clubs were excellent and reasonably priced. Driving range and putting green available. Highly recommend.

Layout is spectacular..the greens rolled at a 7 totally unexceptable ..

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful pre-round.

We started a few minutes before our tee time, and the first few holes went normally, but then things started to slow down. It wasn’t the group in front of us, but rather the group in front of them.

Absolutely horrible, slow, inconsiderate golfers, with no skill whatsoever. The end for us was after making the turn we had to wait almost 1/2 hour to start the back nine, as that group waited for the group in front of them to leave the hole before playing.

No marshals to been seen at any time. The first one we saw was at hole 12 when I asked him to move that group along as we had been on the course for 3hr 15 minutes at that point. To show how clueless he was, he asked if it was the group directly in front of us. We explained that it was the group in front of them, but when we finished 12 and got to hole 13 that group had yet to even reach the green.

We left.

To top it off, people NOT golfing were using the course as a neighborhood pass through as they rode scooters and jacked up golf carts with little kids down the cart paths, so we had to wait to hit our shots so we wouldn’t put these pedestrians in harms way.

The greens appeared to not have been cut for a week, and it felt like shag carpet while putting.

I would NOT recommend this course at any time, for half the price.

Unacceptable course management and upkeep.

Absolutely too much money for the shape the course was in. Worst in 30 years of golf!!!! Don’t waste your money!!!!
